If you mean will this card work on a modern PC..NO
It uses a PCI connection, then came AGP, and now the standard is PCI-express, and we are up to Version 3 i think.
So unfortunatly this card will not run on a modern motherboard, and Windows 7 will not run on a motherboard that this card would fit.
A modern card costing £40 or so would outperform that card many times over
This card had 16mb ram, you will find it hard to get a new card with less than 256mb

Is the Pandigital SCN02 Photolink One-Touch Scanner compatible with Windows 8?

Are you using it currentrly? What is your current Operating System? I've been searching and can't see anywhate a windows 8 driver for this scanner.
Bu let me tell you, I'm using currently a Genius ColorPage, originally released for windows 98. Installed windows 2000 driver in compatibility mode for findows XP. There is no driver for Windows XP nor for Windows 7 and coldn't make it work in Windows 7. So I run it on a computer with dual bootWindows XP / Windows 7.
When I need to scan, I simply start up as windows XP. When finished scanning, reboot to windows 7
I Have Windows 7 on a 2 Tb HD SATA and Windows XP on 200 Mb IDE. Is more economical to have a dual boot then buy a new Scanner.
If your scanner won't run on windows 8, install on another HD or a partiton, Windows 7. doual boot Windows 7 / 8 work like a dream.

Just got a new computer with windows 7 and when loading the disc to install it says not compatable with this version of windows is there a fix for this?

The disc is compatible with some outdated Windows operating systems...Windows 98/ME/2000. This is not much of a camera but as long as you use a memory card with it, you can use a card reader to download any pictures you take.

More than likely it will not. What you can do is run a virtual PC. But it also depend on if the program will run in XP or win 2000. If you have a windows 95 or 98 disk and key, then you can install it with Virtual PC from Microsoft. Check it out here:

As far as I can tell, you are right, there is no support for Windows 7 and this card. The card is AGP 8X, which is older technology and I don't know if you can find a AGP card that is going to be compatable with Windows 7. You could try something like this, which is windows 7 compatable:

Blue screen appear during windows setup

what version of windows is this? If it is before windows 7 like xp or windows 98, as examples, then it should be noted that windows xp and older operating systems are no longer supported fully by microsoft. Vista and 7 are more current operating systems.

We swirched from windows 98 to windows 7. our

Consider NOT using a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

The current system is an not Intel(R) Desktop board, - (A044412A)

this motherboard was not designed for windows 7 and also the driver disc you have is for windows 98/2k/xp so there are less chances that the drivers in the disc will not work with windows 7 i reccomend you to install some software like driver magician which will give you the drivers automatically for all the mbd components hre is the link
