Question about Crosley 24 in. CDU600 Built-in Dishwasher

Water is running in and draining right back out. Leaving the dishes completely dry and dirty. I found a part laying on the floor when I took the cover off. I put it back where it came off of and now this problem. Yesterday it was the water not draining at all, now after putting that part back on it drains and doesnt wash.

Hi

The issue is with the water not draining as something might be blocking the drain pump assembly thus the water is leaking. To solve this issue you'll have to take the front lower access panel out and then clean the drain pump assembly completely, also clean the impeller and chopper assembly located at the bottom of the unit. After this is done the issue should be resolved, if not then check the float switch mechanism and make sure that is fine. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

We all the sudden are having issues with dishes being dirty and leaving soap stains on dishes after running through cycle. It seems to be working fine other then that.

he problem is most likely that there is still water residue at the bottom of your machine. If the machine is not fully drained it picks up some of the residue and sprays that onto the dishes during the final rinse, leaving an unhealthy and unsightly film on everything.
Remove the bottom strainers and make sure that there is nothing obstructing the outlet pipe and the pump. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine again before using it again.

My dishwasher is a kitchen aid and is leaving all the dishes and glass ware with grime and dirty what to do?

Hi

If you are noticing that the dishes are not clean, then there are a few things to check for. Check the soap powder if it's kept in a dry environment. Also try replacing the powder with something like a gel or liquid. Next thing to check for is the water pressure and fill valve. Check if the water is filling in and the spray arms are throwing the water with enough pressure. Try and listen to the sound if you hear a proper spraying action sound.

If it seems as a low water pressure then check the fill valve. Now, check if dishwasher is draining the water or not. While the dishwasher is working check whether the dishwasher is draining and there is not much left out water after the cycle is complete. Try cleaning the spray arm with a soft brush. The water temperature plays a major role in cleaning of dishes. The temp should be between 125 and 150 F for dishwasher to clean the dishes. Hope this helps...

Water leaked all over the floor after completing drying cycle

It is probably a clogged drain line that dumps into either your disposal if you have one or directly in the drain under your sink you may have an air gap on the sink they tend to plug around this area.

Maytag Model WU482 Dish washer completes cycle but dishes remain dirty and water is laying in the bottom.

Check the hoses and air gap for clogging. Air gap is located under the sink between housing seawar line and dishwasher hose.
If no help check/replace drain valve

Food particles are on dishes after washing

Try adding bicarb of soda/baking soda and vinegar in the detergent dispenser. Bicarb fizzes off hardened particles and vinegar strips off grease and aids rinsing.

Not draining properly, leaving film, debris, & soap, draining through air gap

you wont get clean results if loading a dishwasher up with dirty plates, the food debris will circulate around with the water and keep reistating itself on the plates- as it may not get through the filters. try a powder wash with rinse aid topped up and the most important thing is that the salt bottle is topped up. you may also want to check that the spray arms are not all blocked up with debris.
