I would check the lower circuit board it has a few fuses, main fuse. And you should download and print the Diagnostic service manual.

When my Dometic 2652 fridge is plugged in there is a constant clicking noise and it does not cool On propane the freezer gets very cold but the fridge barely cools.

Most common problem with any refrigerator not cooling is a clogged radiator. Can you access it and vacuum it with power disconnected? Clicking may be obstruction hitting fan blade as it turns. Hope this helps.

Refrigerator not cooling on electricty or gas

You will first want to ensure the RV is level.
If the RV is level, then open the rear access vent door on the side of the RV to access the rear of the refrigerator. Feel the coils just above the tank on the cooling system. These coils should be warm to the touch. If they are warm and the refrigerator is not cooling then you will require a replacement cooling unit. Also, the most common area for the Dometic 2652 to leak is just above the propane burner area. If it has leaked, you should see a yellow residue in that area. The cooling unit can be changed in approximately 2-3 hours with no specialized tools needed (Arcticold offers 7 day a week free tech support). The old cooling unit will simply unbolt and the new one bolts in. Check out ArctiCold Refrigeration We keep it cold (the highest quality product available) Arcticold New Cooling units come standard with a Lifetime Warranty. Install instructions are also provided with the cooling unit. Arcticold has locations across North America to provide fast delivery. I have a Dometic RV refrigerator Model RM 2652. After starting the unit up it cuts back off in a minutes. Checked and found out not getting power to the unit. When I plugged straight in to another outlet...

On the back side of the refrigerator to the right you will see a couple of wires going into a metal rod that is bent. That is the electric heating element. Grasp hold of the metal/rubber booted end and see if you can move it from side to side. If it will not move then that typically means that the heating element has failed and has welded to the cooling unit. When this happened it not only could cause a short but could also rupture the cooling unit causing a loss of the hydrogen/ammonia mixture. If they are moveable then you may have a bad circuit board that is causing the unit to shut down to protect the other components.

Dometic 2652 does not cool that well. Food spoils. Placed 12V fans on fins and another on the lower portion. 46-58 degrees. No help. Replaced with circuit board #3308741.002 and no-go. I have no 12V power...

Hi

There could be leak which causes the no cooling state in your unit.To check the cooling ammonia system, the 110v heater or the 12 Volt heaters can be hotwired direct to a power source, this will check the cooling system, The 110 V is best to check. But you need a repair person to get it diagnosed.

I just saw where they have a recall on this model Dometic Refrigerator RM 2652. If you go to the www.Dometic.com and find the recall info you can type your Model and Serial Number into the boxes and see if your model is one of the ones recalled. Don't know if this link will work but try it first and it will bring you straight to that box I am talking about on their website. Its http://67.238.126.140/recall.php, if not go to the one above and find the recall information. Hope this helps.

Info on replacing drain hose on dometic model 2652

You will need to remove the fridge and set it on the floor or at least pull it forward enough to reach the top of the drain hose. There is clip that holds the drain tube to a nipple that sticks out of the back of the fridge that will need to be removed. Remove this clip and the drain hose should pull right off. Route the new drain hose down through the cooling unit coils to the door panel. Attach it back to the nipple with the clip and you should be good to go. The part number for the new drain hose is 2932749019.

Hope this helps,

Jeff
