Your hot/cold water valve solenoid on the rear where the water enters isn't opening, you need to replace this valve where the water hoses enter the rear area hose inlet connections

How do I get the hot water work for my Fisher & Paykel Eco Smart washer?

How hot is the water temp in the house that you are in? If the inlet hose to the washer is not hot, then it is not the washing machine.

1 Answer

No Full Hot Water wash

the hot selection only tells the machine to turn on the house hot water to the machine
if you have it on warm , then both taps will be working
if you want a really hot water wash , there will be an element in the tub to bring it to temp
naturally an energy saver will not waste money heating hot water

From the unit itself you'll need to check your owner's manual and select warm or hot water temps. You also can turn the water temp up from the hot water heater in your home.

No water is coming through when HOT water temp is selected. only on COLD. and COLD comes through when WARM is selected.

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

sounds like your temp selector control is defective..
try this
on warm or hot, turn off the cold water valve at the wall.. you should get hot water, if you dont..you may have a defective hot-water inlet valve

Washer will not fill up with hot water however it will with warm

Is your water temp on your water heater set high enough? If it is sounds like you are getting water from both hot & cold water valves. If temp is set correctly on machine temp switch may be bad on warm all time.

WPXH214A Water Temp: Any selection that has Warm

The cold side of the water valve is either clogged or not opening. Take the cold water hose off of the machine and see if the screen is clogged. If clean you may need to replace the water valve.

Scotsman ice machine(sce 275g)

The older cubers were opperated by a cube size thermostat. when the temp reached the cube size tstat setting it would energize a harvest timer motor and this timer would continue running through a holding switch on the timer. when the cam comes around and the micro switch drops the water is introduced (it would be warm) and the hot gas from the refrigerant would be introduced to the evaporator causing the cubes to drop. at the end of the cycle the cam pushes op in the holding switch and finally open it and because the cube size tstat is now warm the timer motor stops.
The timer had a white plastic stem with a 1/4" D shaft. It would only turn clockwise. Try looking for this and advancing it to see if your sol valve will open or get voltage to the valve.
