I can barely make out what you're trying to get through, but I'm afraid your camera is busted. Take it to a professional for repairs, or buy a new one.

My olympus e volt 500 will not display image when in shoot mode

There is a little button on the back, marked 'info'. Press it to switch from picture view to settings view. It also operates the viewfinder.

Olympus also has a good photo editing program that is free and it allows you to edit photos and stitch pictures taken pn panoramic mode into one panoramic picture. It's called Olympus Master.

Hi, I have an Olympus camera, D-425. For some reason, when I have it on the MOVIE setting, it only allows me to take 6 second clips. I have completely deleted all other photos from the camera, and it...

Greetings - It sounds like you are trying to use the camera's internal memory to shoot video. The camera only has 14 MB of internal memory.
If you want to shoot video or store more than a handful of pictures you need to get yourself an SD memory card and install it as directed in the manual. A two GB card would hold up to 60 minutes of video and can be purchased for about 10 dollars (USD).

What is the button on the bottom of Olympus Stylus zoom 140

No. You just rewound the film. The pictures you took are safe, but you probably 'lost' the rest of the film you did not shoot.

How to activate panorama?

Panorama shooting lets you create a panoramic picture, using the OLYMPUS
Master software from the provided CD-ROM. An Olympus xD-Picture Card is required for Panorama shooting. If the card is a Fuji xD card then the panorama feature would be disabled to you.

Blurry pictures

When operating any digital camera, the camera tries to capture the best focus and exposure for that particular scene. By pressing the shutter button half-way down, the focus and exposure is being set. There will be a green circle on the upper left hand corner of the screen, then your camera is ready to take the picture. Slowly depress the shutter the rest of the way down to take the picture.

Also try to reset the camera back to factory defaults as there could be a setting that is causing the images to be blurry. To reset the camera - have the camera in shooting mode - go to Menu - left arrow to reset and press ok. Highlight yes and press ok. This will reset the camera back to factory settings. See if this clears up the blurry images.

Large, bright orange light streak in pictures

It does sound like a light leak, but hopefully all that has happened is that the foam seals surrounding the film compartment have perished and need replacing. With luck, this is unlikely to be expensive - check with your local camera shop or second hand camera dealer.

Cannot shoot in the sun light

Screen Protector for Portable Devices Estimated Price: Under $10.00.
The original use was for hand held portable gaming system however you can use this on digital camera LCD screens as well.
You can't keep your pictures sharp if you can't see the screen. Protect your Olympus digital camera with a Screen Protector.
The Screen Protector keeps your digital camera clean and protects against scratches. The anti glare coating improves visibility in direct sunlight, so you can take your pictures of the
great outdoors. A polish cloth is included to keep your gear looking good.
You can purchase this at any retail such as Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target.... they can be located next to the hand held portable gaming systems in the electronic department.

Olympus Camedia D-560 Zoom camera opens but won't zoom or shoot

Hey Realblond,
I would try resetting the camera back to factory specifications. You can do this by selecting mode reset under the shooting mode menu. If this doesn't work I would have it looked at be an authorized service technician.

Sincerely,
Allan

SOMEBODY GAVE ME A NEW VIVITAR HC 2000 FOCUS FREE CAMERA, JUST GOT SOME FILM, KODAK 800 35mm,is any of this compatible?

Yes, the film and cameara compatible.

With point and shoot cameras you need to be a bit more careful about the type of film you choose. The Higher the number, the more sensitive it is to light.

If you are going to be shooting outdoors in bright sunshine, a 100 or 200 film is preferable. 400 and 800 films are better suited to indoors or low-light conditions. This doesn't mean that you can't use a 800 film outdoors, but if you do the pictures might be a bit over-exposed which will result in the colours looking a bit washed out when you get your pictures back.Likewise, if you use a 100 film indoors or at night, the pictures can look a bit dark.

Happy snapping!

Panoramic Pictures

If I remember my last Olympus camera it would only work in Panorama mode with an official Olympus memory card. No third party cards would enable that feature. My instructions read "An Olympus xD-Picture Card is required for panorama shooting." If you are using an official Olympus xD-Picture card, there may be a problem with your camera.
