Hello,

the problem should be from the remote control. The remote control batteries are failing contact, that's why it works some times and other time stops responding.

Check the back of the remote, remove the battery and check the battery terminal, see if the spring/metal there are not rust. If you see any sign of rust there, use a fat screw driver to scratch the rust part off and also make sure your batteries are very okay.

If you are lucky to find someone that uses that same remote, you can use the person's remote to test your TV and likewise use your remote to test the person's TV.

If the case/problem is otherwise, please let me know.

Good luck.

The remote is from verizon Fios .It still continues to control the verizon fios box and only stops to control the tv.Than I try the oryginal tv remote to check and it also is not working. After few days it starts to control the tv again while never stops to control the verizon fios box.

    Hello,

this means the problem is not from the remote control, but from the TV's infrared/sensor. Its either the infrared/sensor of the TV is loosing contact or its beginning to become defective. I don't if you can open up the TV and check the remote sensor if its well fixed to the TV board. If its not firm to its position you can solder it.

Note that TV stores a lot of current, so you will have to wait for a while for it to cool if you want to open the TV.

    Take care.

You may need to get a universal remote and the programming codes in order to operate everything you'd like to on your tv. I'm guessing the remote you have is newer than the TV?

I have a 65 inch toshiba cinema series it's says

if a large rear projection set that just says HD, it likely is HD ready which means it needs a set top box connected to the Colorstream input marked 1080 on the rear of the set--It will only likely be 1080i and not p---owner manual would confirm this.

Home cinema/Viera link problem

Turn everything off and disconnect from mains.
Wait a few minutes.
Disconnect HDMI cable.
Turn on TV and DVD.
Connect cable.
If this does not work use a cable of different spec.
I had the same problem and now mine works .
Good luck.
