    Thank you for your reply!

Sadly, I can afford neither parts nor a pro right now.

It doesn't seem to be that much of a problem anyway (at least to me)

It works all fine until the end when it spins really fast (I turned it down to 600 RPM it is I guess) everything else goes just fine.

Welcome to FixYa.

Based on what you`re describing you need a major ocerhaul...or at the very least a rear bearing and inner basket assembly.

This is a major job any way you slice it, however if you want to attempt or are capable of performing the repair I can send you a complete service manual via email.

That means you`ll need to reply to me here and post your email address and I`ll send it in a "pdf" attachment.

I would recommend an authorized B/S/H/ service provider though as it is quite involved, but that`s not my place to say if you feel you can do it.

The part`s are...

# 215113 - Inner Drum/Basket
# 236013 - Outer - rear tank/tub assy.

you could try to replace individual bearings and the seals, but believe me it won`t save you much because either way the inner drum is going to be shot, specifically the spindle, and by the time you try to repair all that you may a well have done the outer tub & basket routs.

Let me know how you make out. Like I said I can send you the info on "how to" but you`ll need to do the work or hire a pro.

Good luck.

    Thanks for the reply.

I totally understand and in fact back in the mid to late 90`s my wife nad I had an Asko 11505 front loader ( made in Sweden ) with the same problem and couldn`t afford the repair ( even with my employee discount it was over $600 ) I went the same route as you.

Drop it down to half speed spin, lighten the load and it has been fine to this`s almost 20yrs. old now, ha ha ! Some items need to be spun twice from time to time, but it works fine otherwise.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and good luck going forward. If you ever decide to do the repair or need any other assistance I hope you`ll choose FixYa again.

We were told that we need new bearings as well on a six year old machine... and that we'd be better off buying a new machine since the labor would be so expensive. We're considering attempting the repair ourselves. Can you please send the service manual to
    Thanks, Misha

1. Too much vibration on spin cycle even on

loud rumbling noise when running, unplug it, take the rear cover off and remove the drive belt. Then turn the inner drum by hand. If there is a grating noise, the bearings will almost certainly need replacing.
drain port take out and give a very good clean with warm water and makes sure all the holes are cleaned right through

Doesnt spin on spincylce and just makes a rattling noisewff1475 bosch

The rattling noise is probably something in the pump.
If it is not draining properly, this will stop it spinning.
Check pump filter, if clean, then I would suggest you check the brushes in the motor for wear, as badly worn brushes will also stop it spinning.

Drum makes loud whinning noise when spinning at high rpms.

Remove drive belt.and turn drum by hand, if it feels rough or sounds noisy, then the main drum bearings have failed., also check that the main drum pulley is not loose. If you think it is the bearings, then it is quite an expensive repair.
Plz rate this solution.Thanks.

Won't spin - belt fine!

I had the same problem with my Bosch 2060, which is almost 6yrs old. After opening the back of the washer and inspecting, belt looked good and not loose. Spending several hrs on net looking for postings, most thinking replacement of motor brushes is the solution. Someone posted that the connector on the right side of motor (located under the tub) to the right side could be loose. I pushed on the connector to make sure it was tight. Powered up and went to spin cycle and was greatly relieved that washer began to spin. Thanks for whoever posted this simple fix.
