Question about Toshiba 50H13 50" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

My TV repairman needs a schmatic for my Toshiba Model 57H81 TV, Serial No. 57022893, Chasie #TAC0154. We purchased the TV at Best Buy in Erie,PA, but we now live in Costa Rica. I was fortunate to fine a TV repair person, but he says he needs the schmatic. I assume I write to Toshiba, but I'm not sure of their address of if they have an email address I can write to request the Schmatc. Thanks!

I had the same issue with my 57 in. Mitsubishi. I fixed it by buying a new projection bulb. The Mitsubishi manual indicated this was the fix for my Mitsubishi TV. Be advised that new projection bulbs are not inexpensive. My TV works like new once the projection bulb was replaced.

Help! Toshiba 51H84..Power light flashing, tv picture won't come on!

You need a new HV transformer. Usually you can just buy the transformer itself. It's a little black tower on the backside of the tv. If it's not that, it's the convergence ic's. There's two of them, given it's a toshiba, the part number is more than likely stk392-110.

Toshiba 57H81Problems Please Help

On this model I've found the hyper module to cause lines (Left to right) in the picture. Usually at start up and half the screen, then after warm up, the set will clear up some or completely. Of course a picture of the problem would help in diagnostics. The hyper module must be soldered in, so, knowledge of soldering is advised. This PCB can be bought at: Andrews Electroncis or Tritronics. I do this job in the home, pick up for service should not be required.
