Question about Facebook Social Network

Pictures will not load in notes section

Usually when I write an article (note), I upload a relevant picture. However for the past several day no picture will upload. It just stops uploading and the area where my thumbnail should be (as well as the buttom for uploading itself is gone.

Have you tried clearing your temporary internet cache? I dont know what browser you are using but there should be an option within the tools menu to delete temporary interenet setting etc.

Testimonial: "Thanks..I will go back using Firefox. I've used Chrome for a while and never dad this problem - but clearly there are many issues with Chrome. Thanks!"

  • Torazane Jul 29, 2010

I dont use Chrome but a quick look around and it seems there are lots of compatability problems between Chrome and Facebook. Until Google fix this you may have to sacrifice some speed for stability and go back to Firefox or even IE :(

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I need to copy pictures to facebook and on to the internet

These files are usually not copied and pasted on these sites there is usually a upload process. Look for a button on Facebook that as asks upload photos in status or add to photo album pictures a window will open that is on your computer. Here you will need to choose the right file location, open then choose the picture or doc. and select open, it should then start uploading the item, do not leave the page until it is loaded to avoid incorrect uploading then select done. I believe that Craigslist is the same process, however it comes at the end of item description and contact information.

How to add wartermark in your eBay pictures

You can add a watermark using either our camera icon, or your eBay user ID. Here's how to add the watermark:
1. On the page where you create your listing, scroll to the "Bring your pictures to life" section.
2. Click the "Add or remove options" link, and then select one or both watermark options:
-- Enable watermarking with my eBay user ID
-- Enable watermarking with eBay camera icon. 3. Click the "Save" button.
4. Continue filling out the form. If your user ID is longer than 24 characters, we'll shorten it to 24 characters.
Note: we will not watermark any picture that is less than 200 pixels on the longest size. When your upload your picture, we'll apply the watermark(s) you selected to the picture for you.
NOTE: The watermark choice you select only applies to pictures uploaded after it is selected. Changing your selection will not add or remove watermarks from previously uploaded pictures. Additionally, watermarks are not supported for pictures uploaded via our simple listing form or from Easy Lister.

I want ot download pictures from my memory card

This question comes up several times a day here in the camera section at Fixya. But please note, it's very hard to troubleshoot individual software problems online, and it likely is a software issue. But why put up with the headaches of bad software in the first place?

Please see this article, as it describes the use of an inexpensive USB card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue.

I cannot down load pictures to my pc where i get software for download.

Ahh the A40, one of my all-time favorite cameras from Canon (it's hard to take a bad picture with that camera when it's placed in "Auto"). But I digress.

Please don't take the following as a sales pitch as it's not, but please see this article, as it describes the use of an inexpensive card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. Make sure that you find a card reader that is stated capable of reading CF cards. Many of the "all-in-one" readers can do that.
