Since detecting the type of equipment you have, and its numerous technical specifications, can be quite difficult, it may be easiest to use a site that will scan your system and determine the updates needed. Three available sites: driveragent.com, drivers.com, and drivershq.com. You may find this more helpful. Thanks for rating FixYa!

Wanted to check in with you to see if you needed additional assistance, or if the information I provided helped you to locate the final resolution of your problem. If you need more help, I will be happy to do so, if you will post back. But if the information I gave you did help to solve your problem, I would appreciate it if you would reconsider the rating assigned to this solution. A rating of "Thanks for Trying" means that the information was not very helpful and/or relevant to the issue at hand. A "FixYa" rating indicates that the response provided great advice on solving the issue. If the response I gave you did not fall in this category, please tell me what additional help I may provide in order to reach FixYa. If it did, could you please rerate the response at FixYa? I realize this is a small request, but user ratings are all calculated into the expert's ranking and status, and I really take pride in helping each user to reach the best possible solution. Again, please let me know if you need additional help; otherwise, I would greatly appreciate it if you would reconsider this rating. Thank you for rating FixYa!

Access the manufacturer's web-site: http://www.intel.com
Access the "support" pages.
Search for your motherboard (Pentium 4, D101GGC).
Access the "download" pages.
Select your Operating System.
Select the "chipset" and the "audio" device-drivers.
Download them.

No sound device

? mark means no sound driver install or errors in Device Manager. u can check ur mother board cd room or can search ur audio driver in web or below may be ur answer

Question: Where do I locate motherboard sound drivers?
Answer: Users who have motherboards with on-board audio (often with VIA, Realtek, or C-Media chipsets) may have issues with their audio or AC'97 errors in Device Manager. Often this is caused because the operating system has been reinstalled and the motherboard chipset drivers are not installed. To resolve this issue try following the below steps.
Let Windows redetect drivers
If you have not recently reinstalled Microsoft Windows it's possible that your audio drivers are simply corrupt. Open Device Manager and remove all devices under "Sound, video and game controllers" and any "Other devices". Once removed reboot the computer and let Microsoft Windows re-detect the audio drivers.
Motherboard chipset drivers
Reinstalling the motherboard chipset drivers will usually resolve this issue. If your computer came with a Motherboard CD, install the chipset drivers from the CD and the sound drivers if also available on the CD.
If you do not have a motherboard CD, obtain the motherboard chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacturer.
Sound card drivers
If after installing the motherboard chipset drivers you continue to have issues install the sound drivers. We suggest you download the sound drivers from the computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer.
A listing of motherboard manufacturers and their drivers can be found on our motherboard chipset drivers page.
