there is different input that you have to select the one you connected in (RGB- analog- digital)

Try changing resolution on your computer to XGA (1024 x 768 pixels), you can read more about native or interpolated resolutions at www.projector-guide.com Are you using default lenght cable or longer? If you are using default cable, double check if it works - check it with monitor etc. If you are using longer cable, the lenght shouldn't be longer than 20 meters, otherwise you may need VGA signal amplifier.
