Hi, I have a problem with this guy as follows: when i try to record something i cannot see anything (a blank screen with a very little brightness chances when moving the camcorder) on lcd. Trying to record with viewfinder gives the
same result. I cannot record anything on the casette. But playback is fine for old recorded mini DV's. Therefore i thing that it has no battery problem. May be an IC has died. Any idea about this problem? Thanks..

- I have the same exact problem with two of them!! one stopped working while using it I discovered that the other one didn't work after it has been off for a year or so. now they still don't work,the screen is completely black and it records only sounds it can play old mini DV's

- I have same problem with Samsung SD 107 model camcorder. And appreciate if anybody have any troubleshoot tip or know where to get it fixed. Viewfinder and LCD screen both doesnt show anything however it is playing mini DV fine.- s_yashwant
