I have the PCCHIPS P23G V 1.0A and It only supports certain versions (core steppings) of the Pentium D 945 (3.4ghz). I had the same rebooting problem. Version 3.0 supports all versions of the Pentium D and many earlier Core2Duo processors which run at the 1066 mhz bus. This reply may be a bit late but I suggest that you try one of the newer pcchips Intel boards which are a better than the P23G.

Does dual core processor support Foxconn P9657AA-8EKRS2H mother board

The Foxconn P9657AA-8EKRS2H motherboard has a LGA 775 Socket. It will support Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Extreme, and Core 2 Duo processors with an FSB of 1066 (800MHz). Thus is should support the dual core 775 processors. (Some Pentium 4, Pentium D and Celeron D CPUs may also be compatible with the board.)

I hope this helps.

Hello, i got maximus formula motherboard. CPU : LGA775 socket for Intel Core 2 Extreme / Core 2 Quad / Core 2 Duo / Pentium extreme / Pentium D / Pentium 4 Processors Chipset : Intel X38/ICH9R FSB...

This is your board by the numbers you supplied:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131199
You have Via P4M900 and VT8237 chipsets and Realtek ALC662(sound)
This is Asus's link for your board:
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5VD2VM_SE/#download
It's supported to Windows Vista so, it may or may not work with Windows 7.
You can try your sound here, if necessary:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false
and, this is Via's link:
http://www.via.com.tw/en/support/drivers.jsp
It appears your board has the support for Windows 7, if that is what you are running so these should be all you need. Let me know if I can help you further.

I have intel pentum 4 so which one mother board useful for me

Hi.
It all depends on which version of Pentium 4 that you have.

If it's one of the older ones, then they were socket 478, and probably 440mhz fsb.

The newer ones are socket 775, and allow for faster bus speeds, such as 800 and 1066 mhz bus speed, and they allow for bigger, faster ram as well.

Early P4's didn't have hyper-threading, and that seriously hurt the performance of the chip.

If you do find a mobo, make sure that it matches the fsb of the processor, otherwise the processor may not be recognized by the system.

Good luck, and I hope I helped you !

What cpu is compatible with motherboard GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3

Go to http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/download-center.aspx?kw=GA-965P-DS3

and click on revision 1.0 - 3.3 as there may be additional CPUs supported in Rev 3.3 vs 1.0, you have to determine what specific Revision you have.

I have a gateway MSII have a gateway MSI Ms-7399 mother board. I have an E6300 pentium dual core processor at 2.8 with a FSB at 1066,in it and it works fine. I want to know what the specs on the board are...

The board is maxed out at 1066 and it does not appear that gateway has a BIOS update to allow for the higher FSB reuired with the faster Intel chips. If you installed one of these newer LGA 775 chips into your computer it may work but would be a lot slower than what it is rated due to the chips multiplier would be set for 1333. I could not see any BIOS updates from gateway for this board. Also these chips are designed to run with the faster memory and the 800mhz memory speed would also be a bottle neck for your system.

I am tryin to upgrade my processor on my 4000783 gateway motherboard need to change my fsb speed and dont know how

You cannot change your fsb. You need to upgrade to a cpu with a fsb speed that your board can support. Once you install the new cpu your bios will set the fsb to the higher setting of your new cpu if your board supports it. If you have your board specs it will tell you something like supports fsb 1066/800. That would mean you could upgrade to a supported 1066 fsb cpu. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

I have 810 bu mother board

your board is compatible with pentium 3 processors through the "coppermine" revision, the pentium 3 "tulatin is not supported" here is a list from wikipedia of the "coppermine" processors supported by your board.:

Coppermine
  • 100 MHz FSB: 500, 550, 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850, 900, 1000, 1100 MHz (E-Models)
  • 133 MHz FSB: 533, 600, 667, 733, 800, 866, 933, 1000, 1133 MHz (EB-Models)

Coppermine-T (the only coppermines with an attached heatsink)
  • 133 MHz FSB: 800, 866, 933, 1000, 1133 MHz

The Tulatin core is NOT compatible with intel 810 boards, and they can be easily confused with the coppermine-t's because they also have attached heatsinks.
