I have x3470 all in one+ and I have mircosoft 7 and I'm try to set my print into my tower which is new with the 7 program what doI do

I suggest not to plug the Lexmark X3470 printer to your computer yet. Check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by clicking on the Windows logo Start menu > right click on Computer > Properties. Then download the printer driver using this link: http://bit.ly/d7Y8ft (for 32-bit) or this link: http://bit.ly/cHOjVU (for 64-bit). Execute the file and follow the instructions on the software. That problem is related sometimes to old printer drivers. Please uninstall your printer from your PC and restart the PC then go to the Lexmark.com site and dowload the drivers for your X3470 those should be the new drivers and once installed they should not cause that problem.

Old computer died. new computer has Windows 7. Can't get printer to install even though it says it is and status is good. Help!

Is the Lexmark X3470 compatable with Windows Vista? I cant get it to scan onto my computer but it'll print fine.


Yes, according to the Lexmark website, your printer model is compatible with Windows Vista and even Windows 7. I would suggest that you uninstall the drivers for the printe/scanner and download the new drivers from their support website, then re-install the printer/scanner using those drivers.

CAN NOT GET LEXMARFK X3470 TO INSTALL PROPERLY ON NEW COMPUTER DOWNLOADED UPGRADING TO WINDOWS 7


Disconnect printer, remove the printer driver then upgrade to win 7. After that is done downoad new driver from lexmark for win 7 and install it. then reconnect printer.

I recently changed towers and I can't find my CD to the printer


It should just install itself but if you have had no luck the this is the website http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi

Just select your operating system then it should go to the next page. Then click download

Hello, always keep dockets. Could be a dud cartridge. Recommend clean unit with own printer program, especially a deep clean if you have this. Try cleaning manually with proper cleaning solution and cotton tip, where cartridge sits. Also, is the cartridge the correct generic equivalent of the genuine lexmark, you may have wrong no cartridge too. good luck, lilacgerry xxx

Can't print from emails or greeting cards


Just for posterity, do you have an adobe printer? If so, try printing the email or greeting card to that, making a pdf of it, and then printing to the printer. If that works, my next question is what email program are you using? Is it Outlook, Express, or web based (or other)? If it is Outlook or express, try running detect and repair. Please let us know if you need assistance for that. Check for updates to your programs as well.
