Rebooting problem with Creative SB Audigy.

Dear friends, I'm facing a serious problem with my PC with Intel D915GAV desktop board. Config: 3.2GHz CPU, 1GB DDRRAM running Win Xp Pro.SP2. Last 2 years I'm using this PC with On-board audio (Realtek) it work fine. Two weeks ago I purchased an Creative SB Audigy value card. As normal I disabled on-board audio & loaded drivers for creative card.It is working fine on all audio playback operations. But using this card I can't go to Internet Radio, Internet diallers etc. Each time when I connecting to any of those after about a minute PC is rebooting.I tried different PCI slots, Another PC plug-ing this Creative card (but same desktop board D915GAV) also rebooting while connecting to any of the services. I changed the card from supplier. But same thing is happening!. I'm very much greatful to you if you give me suggest any solution.

Thank you for all the help from

Now realized you are doing a cheating job. Your 1st & 2nd advisers are given without reading my questions.

    1. You asked me to disabled the On-board Modem.

Then I wrote to you there is no On-board Modem in Intel D915GAV motherboard. (That means you are not aware of this board.).

    2. Now you wanted me to disable on-board Audio also. My friend before you answer an question read the question. See my question, I already wrote I was diaabled on-board Audio & tried.

So..dear friend in future I don't want your advise on this subject. You are not an professional organization to help PC problems.

Thank you very much for all the effort to help me.

You also need to disable the on-board audio from the BIOS setup.

Yes, no problem for all of them. Get the 4670, it's the best of them.

Please .. memory types used by D915GAV ?

I'm not sure where you saw that in the manual. I could not locate that it. However that could mean that it's just a earlier printing.
In any event if your going to add memory to the board it's best to use the one that has already been tested and approved for use in it. I would probably say you could disregard the list with most motherboards but Intel being what it is, they are rather fussy about this kind of thing. Unless you already have the memory stick in which case give it a try. If it registers it great if not switch it around to another slot. If that fails threaten it with free fall from a second story window. Below is a link to the approved memory sticks for your board.

Pc restarts & display "System has recovered from serious error"

If you have *********** board manual still then try and clear the CMOS memory,

turn the computer off
remove the power lead from the back
take the side off
remove the cmos battery
move the cmos jumper from pins 1 and 2 to pin 2 and 3 and the back to pins 1 and 2
replace the battery
put the side on
replug in the power lead
boot the computer

if that doesn't work then try to fix the bios.
here are instructions for that:

and here is a link to the .bio file for you:
