SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

HOW dO I aDD memory?

It really depends on what you have now. Go to crucial's site http://uk.crucial.com/gbr/en/ and use the scan computer tool and it will tell you how, if you can and the parts if possible.
Frankly this is the safest and surest way of doing this.

Install icon

Usually CUA in computer terms stands for Common User Access. However, are you trying to create an icon of your Credit Union Bank's web site? If so, simply go to your credit union's web page then click and drag the address from the address bar at the top of your browser onto your desk top. Now you can click that icon to take you directly there. Good Luck

I downloaded bing the other day because my windows update suggested it. Well, The Bing desktop is smaller than my screen! I want to fix the desk top, so it's the same size as my computer screen. Right now...

Go in control panel click on Add or remove programs or programs and features Look for Bing Desktop or something like that. And double click it to uninstall. After the uninstall is done reboot the computer then it should be gone.

I have a compaq desk top Vista. Every time a video is loading it want play it buff, and also the fan inside is running very high and sometime the computer shut down. what do i need to do with this problem?

sounds like you have either a video card problem or you may have too little ram installed, the ram issue is less likely. you should verify your video card is up to specs for vista and possibly add a separate video card. it's also possible that your cpu may be over heating due to extra stress. make sure that the heat sink is properly installed, and you can also take the heat sink off completely and add more thermal compound between the processor and the heat sink. it sounds like a temperature plroblem, but you can verify by downloading cpuz (use google) and run it, then load youtube or whatever site you're going to and watch the temperature on the program. if it starts to go up dramatically as the video loads you've pin pointed your problem

XP Pro desktop: I open web page and screen closes back to desktop

Could be either a virus or compatibility issue with an update. Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Click in the SHOW UPDATES at the top of the screen. Scroll down until you find Windows Internet Explorer 7. Look for the newest date of Updates to IE. Uninstall the last update by clicking on it and selecting remove. Then test IE. If this does not work, look for the last Windows update and do the same.

Problem with our Apple Macs shutting down

A quoted suggestion from my Mac Guru: "They need to turn off the Energy saver preferences for processor cycling and hard drive spin down. They would actually be better off turning them down anyway since the G5 duals run really hot and aren't the most reliable model Apple ever shipped for motherboards failing."

As for the iMac 99, It would be more helpful to know what OS the unit is running. I remember hearing a story about a disgruntled employee putting the 'shut down app' in the start up items folder. This caused the Mac to start as normal and then shut down after the startup was complete. Try starting up the machine with the extensions off. 'Hold down the shift key at startup'
