ISA is a very old technology and cards usually require switches or links to be set to avoid conflicts with other cards. ISA is not plug-n-play like PCI or PCI-e.
The software talks to an ISA card by knowing parameters such as IRQ number, DMA number, address range. These values may be permanently set on some cards, while others allow changing via the DIL switches or jumper links. To get two ISA cards working in one PC, the two cards need to use their own IRQ, DMA & address ranges. Make sure there are no conflicts of settings on the sound card and the tape drive card.
Try changing the settings on one of the cards. The tape drive may be the easiest for this. The tape drive is probably connected via a ISA to SCSI interface card. This should have DIP switches or Links to allow the above settings to be changed.

1st. make sure u have a driver for the speakers
2nd make sure u have a driver for the sound card (if not integrated)
3rd (if nothing else works) go into bios and be sure your audio devices are setup right ex. pci if its in the pci slots, isa if in isa slot, or integrated if its connected to the motherboard

MOB ITOX G4620-N won't reconize ISA Cards

WOW must be a fairly old system if it still has ISA slots.
Are you running XP or something else?

I assume you have the manufactures drivers that match the operating system you are using?

Have the isa cards worked in this system before?

My memory of isa cards is they are really useless at managing interrupts and I/O addresses. Go into device manager and see if there are any conflicts.

Try installing one card at a time. once it is recognised you can try the second one.

Also go into the bios settings page and turn off devices you are not using like serial ports and parrallel ports. if you have a sound card remove it or disable it if is onboard.

If you know what Interupt the cards is tyring to uses you should be able to reserve it in the bios so that plug and play devices won't touch it.

With a some trial and error and a combination of all these settings you should be able to figure it out.

Replacing a sound card for a dell dimension 3000

Check if your PC has a PCI slot. It is this white strip on you motherboard. Go to your PC shop and ask for a PCI sound card. Just insert it and install the Drivers CD. If it doesn't, You may have the old ISA slot and stores may not be available of any ISA sound card. But dont worry, generally all computers starting from pentium 2 has a PCI slot. You may worry only if your computer is as old as the 486 computers.

ISA sound in Linux

Dear.

Since version 7.3, Redhat have removed support for ISA devices. If you have a older computer that uses an ISA sound device (such as my Asus L7200 laptop with Yamaha OPL3 chip), the ISA device will not be recognized. What you need to do is to download the ISAPNPTOOLS package. Unzip and untar the file and then follow the readme file's instruction to compile, install and configure it. You will also need to add the sound device module to /etc/modules.conf. After that the sound should work. Refer to the Linux Howtos for more information.
Since 2005, Linux ALSA sound architecture support pretty much have eliminated that issue even for ISA sound devices.

PCI card not been detected via Windows.

the sound card is installed into the ISA slot not the PCI slot.
clear the cmos for a minute, set it normal again.
install the sound card to the ISA slot carefully - i mean a working sound card and couple the system unit and boot, surely you will have your sound card working.
