How to widen my screen

    • 1 Use the zoom in and out shortcut with your mouse. Many programs such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Microsoft Word allow users to zoom in and out quickly using their mouse and keyboard. Hold down the "Control" ("Ctrl") key, and then move the mouse wheel forward to zoom in or backward to zoom out until the text fits your screen to your liking.
    • 2 Use the zoom command from your program's menus. If you don't have a mouse with a wheel or the mouse zoom shortcut does not work, try locating a "zoom" command in the "View" menu of your program. Many programs have an option to zoom in and out under the "View" menu, which will make text larger or smaller. You may have to select "Zoom in" or "Zoom out" several times before the text is the right size.
    • 3 Change your screen resolution. Altering your screen resolution can change the size of windows and text on your screen. Right click the desktop, select "Properties" (Windows XP) or "Personalize" (Windows Vista and 7), click the "Settings" tab (XP), or the "Display Settings" link (Vista) or click "Display" and then "Adjust Screen Resolution" (7). Adjust the resolution slider up or down, click "Apply" and then click "OK."

Turn on the computer and log into Windows as normal. Open the "Start" menu and click on the option labeled "Control Panel."
2

Double-click on the icon labeled "Mouse.". The "Mouse Properties" window will open. Navigate to the tab labeled "Device Settings." Click on the button labeled "Settings." A window labeled "Properties" will appear.
3

Examine the left panel of the "Properties" window and expand the option labeled "Sensitivity." Click on the option labeled "Touch Sensitivity."
4

Reduce the touch sensitivity setting by moving the slider to the right, towards the "Heavy Touch" label. Experiment with different levels of sensitivity until you find one suited to your needs.
5

Click on the button labeled "OK" to close the "Properties" window; repeat with the "Mouse" control panel. Your new touchpad sensitivity settings are now saved.

Dell Dimension 5150. After bost my computer, I can the accounts icons on the screen, but I cannot slect the icon by mouse because all USB port did not work.

You can try this. On the log-on screen where you see your Account Icons try pressing ctrl alt delete. Some windows XP are configured that if ctrl+alt+delete are pressed on the lon-on screen the classic log-on screen window will appear, where you can type your username and password thus eliminating the use of the mouse.

For the last two days haven't been able to get onto youtube

Please do the following:

On the desktop:
-First, go to mozila.com and download the version of Firefox they have to your computer (desktop)
-once the download is completed, uninstall Firefox by going to [Start], [Control Panel] then [Add/Remove Programs]
-scroll down the list of programs you have and uninstall Firefox.
-You also want to uninstall any "toolbar" programs on the list as well (google, yahoo, etc). These toolbars can also interfere
-After uninstalling Firefox and toolbar programs, look at your list of programs and make sure you only have 1 Anti-virus program installed (if you see 2 or more, please reply to us on how many you have installed).
-Now, restart your computer.... then log in.
-Install the new FireFox we downloaded to your desktop, by double-clicking on it
-Follow the on-screen prompts (as you may have done before when you first installed it).
-Now, after Firefox starts, try to go to Youtube.

Let us know how it went. :)
