Note that you need to know the hardware version of your router
wich is on the lower part of the router.
There is also a alternitive firmware for this type of router wich is
better than the firmware of Linksys itself.
Flash with mini build first when your router is still running the original linksys firmware, then afterwards flash with standard\vpn\voip builds.
Fill in your router type and download the desired firmware build:http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database
Connect your router to your computer with a network cable.
Open your favorite web browser and goto http://192.168.1.1, this will
open teh web interface, fill in your user name and password, if left standard see manual, change the password after setting up your router.
Click at the tab Administration then click on firmware upgrade.
Click on Browse... to select the firmware file and click open.
When the firmware is sleceted click on Upgrade.
Now don't disconect the router from your computer and from it's power source, this will brick the router, when flashing completed succesfully, the screen comes up in your browser saying Upgrade is successfull.
Rebooting..., click on continue, now you can safely disconect everything after you settedup your router.

There must be a reset button where we can hard reset the router and you can try that or you can also try turning the router off and on after removing it from the electric plugs completely.
