Failed to install in my 2013 trek mtb bike. what tools needed for us be able to install or need washer. Also need to know the comlete package and parts included when you buy it

First, you're going to need to know what type of bottom bracket is on the frame of said bike. Hopefully it will be a standard threaded BB. It could be a BB90 or PF90. If there are no threads in the BB where your BB cups then your working with a press fit system. Let's start with what should come with your Truvativ Noir Crankset. You'll have the drive side arm & spindle, non-drive arm. 3x2.5mm spacers,1x wave washer. The Noir crank uses a 24mm diameter spindle, same as Shimano. SO, if your replacing a hollow tech II crank it should be a pretty standard affair. You'll need to know how wide your BB is on the bike frame to know how many 2.5mm spacers to use. The wave washer goes on the non-drive side against the bearing. Make sure to grease the BB before installation. If there are threads in the frame you'll be using outboard bearings. If it's a press fit system you'll be using cartridge bearings that press directly into the frame. Good Luck!

I have a 2001 Specialized StumpJumper FSR XC and have put a new chain wheel on 48t and I'm struggling to find a front deriailleur that fits any help please?

Clamp on front mech xt or xtr would be an option, be careful if you need bottom pull or top, cut or grind off bracket on old front mech to reinstall,as this is a spacer as well as a mounting bracket ,bit old school but older front mechs are best

The plate on my e-type is bending when pulling the line, making shifts unprecise. What do I do wrong ?

I am not quite sure what you mean by plate, but if you mean that the whole derailleur assembly is moving under tension, you have to make sure that the bottom bracket cups are tight.

To do this will require removing the crankset and following the installation instructions listed here. follow the directions for your brand of crankset (if Shimano, then Hollowtech II) under the bearing installation heading.

Hi I'd to change the original crankset and rear derailleur of my Merida AM400D (Shimano Deore) with the Shimano SLX. Any difficulties in doing so???? Thanks

The deralleur is cake but the crank may present problems not so much mechanically as in the 'q' factor or distance from the frame center to where the chainrings and pedals will rest. Sometimes when you change cranks you get a different effective depth of penetration by the bottom bracket so your chain lne may be difficult to adjust for good shifting.

I don't know an easy way to deteremine the end result prior to just trying it. A Bike Shop migh thave some data and recommendations for BB length.

This site gives a lot of good advice plus they sell the special tools you WILL require to remove the old cranks.

How to remove the crank set and install it

There are 3 bolts to remove on the left crank (side without the gears): 1 - the main large cap in the center of the arm (this requires a special round tool supplied by shimano with the cranks, or your local shop can sell you one), and 2 bolts holding the arm in place. Remove all three completely. If the arm still will not come off easily, then take a large screwdriver and work in between the bearings and the crank arm and gently pry off. The trick is too only move a little then go to another section and move another small amount. until the crank arm wants to loosen. Once you pull the left side arm off, the right side will pull out of the bottom bracket, Just pull straight out. the BB spindle is attached to the right side crank arm. To install reverse the instructions. Works the same on Shimano cranksets of this type.
