I have WC 7535 when I give print or copy from tray 2,3 & 4 printer showing paper jam in tray module

Look carefully on the left hand side. All the paper from those trays pass up the left. ( you probably know that) The last time I worked on one of those machines paper feeding up from those trays can get stuck you've got to investigate where the paper is stuck coming up from the trays. Open the left door and very carefully see how far the media has traveled, does the lead edge get damaged, dented or spoiled in any way. ( look closely there) don't just rip out the paper, investigate why. Just how far has the media moved from the tray selected. I suspect a torn bit of paper stuck inside. If your machine is difficult to get to you must make room to look properly with a torch if necessary. Pull out trays 1 & 2 fully so you can look without being hindered. Good look!

How do you clear a error code 6000 on a canon pixma printer mx922?

This is a "line Feed Error" signal which can be cause by many things. Most of the time it is the result of a small bit of paper still jammed in the feed rollers,..or someone dropped something in the paper path,...like a paper clip or staple, or rubber band or a cat toy. Open the cover and when the head comes to the center pull out the power cord. Now you can move the carriage to the far left and examine the paper path. Remove the rear turn around door and use a flashlight to examine every part you can see. Use the light to examine the purge unit area looking for a jam. Move the carriage to the far right and use the light to look at the timing disk inside the cover on the far left. It should still be there and vertical.

Xante platemaker II paper jam error

Sometimes the sensor which detects paper jams gets knocked out of position during moves. NEVER move a printer while it is on. Don't even slide it around on your desk a little bit. If this is the case, your printer needs a replacement sensor which likely requires a professional to install. It would probably be cheaper to buy a new one anyways.

You can try the following to correct the issue:
1.Get a can of compressed air. As per the directions on the can, dust anything you can get at within the printer without moving or touching the internal mechanisms. It is possible that dust or smoke has gotten onto the sensor and is causing false paper jams.

2.open the rear access panel of the machine. You will see black rollers. With a slightly damp cloth (no paper towels) gently wipe at the rollers. Dirty rollers will not grab the paper properly and this may be confusing the mechanism.

Cardstock won't feed

You need to hand feed these things.....one at a time. I sometimes find that I have to "help" it a little bit to get it feed by putting just a bit of pressure on the paper to push it into the feeder. Another trick is to make sure the front edge is turned up just a bit. (I usually take about 10-15 pieces of cardstock and roll them, and then feed them one at a time) that seems to work pretty well, too

Paper jam

A paper jam is when paper feeds badly (ie: skews, crumples, gets caught, etc...) in the printer mechanism and stops the flow of paper through the system.

The first thing you need to do is get rid of the paper that's jammed everything up... To do this you'll need to:

  • Open the printer lid (lift the lid by placing your fingers under the control panel lip and carefully lifting upwards)

  • Remove the rear panel (press the two grey buttons/tabs inwards to release the panel)
In each of the areas you expose you will probably find some paper which has started feeding and then stopped.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT Yank or otherwise pull the paper out in an abrupt fashion as this can and often does damage the printer feeding mechanism..

The best way to remove a jam is to try and pull the paper out in the same direction as it would normally feed ie: straight out.. Pulling to the side is not a good move... It takes a little bit of time but also look for ink soaked pieces of paper which may lie doggo and hidden as they will cause other problems in the future.

You may also want to get the printer to move the printhead over to the left side by pressing and holding the OK button (on the control panel) as if you were replacing the printheads and see if the printhead has ripped any paper off into the parking area (far right).

Once you've done all that and made sure there's no paper or bits you can replace the rear panel and close the lid and you should be good to go...

If the problem repeats, look for foreign objects where the paper bunches up and also make sure that your paper guide (the moveable part in the paper tray) has been moved into position to guide the paper properly (ie: not TIGHT against but not looser than a 1mm or so).

Hope that helps.

Paper wont feed then says paper jam

Got rid of my problem!

In an act of despair I started to poke around the inside of the printer with a wooden match. Especially I found a small black lever mentioned on a Dell web site (general paper jam help page) that could be pressed a little. It is placed just a little bit right of center behind the carriage and just above the roll that feeds the paper beneath the printer heads. I'm not sure if this was what finally did it, but now the paper jam problem has gone away.

Another thing I noticed is that my carriage is now moving to center when I open the top. When the paper jam error was present it always moved to the far left (so I could remove any jammed paper, I suspect)

Doesn't Print - Says "Paper Jam"

That is the problem, machine will show printer jam if paper feed rollers fail to pick up paper when requested, your machine sounds like it needs new paper feed roller or you can clean the paper feed roller with a slightly! damp cloth.

If no jam light shows when power is turn on and machine comes to ready and then you send a job to printer and it then shows jam then it is the feed roller or sometimes the feed clutch

If on the other hand it always show jam then there is or a switch is stuck.

Paper feeds in too far for copying

sounds like the registration clutch is sticking, unplug machine. the reg. clutch is located in the middle of the machine, under the drum unit, it should have about 4 little gray rollers on it, @ the rear of the shaft in the back part of the machine you will see the reg. clutch. take a little bit of alcohol and pour it over the clutch and move the roller to get the toner/dirt out of the clutch. let the alcohol dry. try machine.
