Question about Sony Ericsson K800i Cellular Phone
I have had the same problem with my K850i. Trying the EROM update process is not useful because the phone is dead so the software won't see it. I had to send mine to the nearest SE service centre. When I get back to get the unit I asked what the problem with my phone they stated that it was an EROM fault but that is was beyond economical repair and had to replace the main board. You really need to send it back to the service centre and just hope that they'll do something with it. I wasn't charged for it as it was under warranty and it was a manufacturers fault.
