If there is NO display then this is fairly major. Please check, the main Fuse or Circuit breaker. If they are OK, then you have some sort of internal disconnection, usually caused by a faulty. "Brain" or Main Board.
Please find below your service and repair manual, this should help you troubleshoot and hopefully effect a repair.

Below is a self help how to repair your dishwasher between this and the manual, you should have a good shot at repair.
Else call a reputable serviceman and ask for a 'Quote" before proceeding with any repair.

For some unknown reason, the display mysteriously came back on and nothing I do makes it go back off again, save pressing the power button. It sounds like one of those bloody intermittent problems!

Fault code EF is flashing on my Electrolux fridge FSC23R5DSB6. What does this code mean?

EF on the Electrolux refrigerator digital display means "evaporator fan."

The long answer is, it doesn't necessarily mean there is something wrong with your Electrolux refrigerator.

Turn the power off on the digital display and carefully unplug the refrigerator from the power source. Leave the refrigerator unplugged for three to five minutes. Plug the refrigerator back in and give the refrigerator a few minutes then turn the power button back on. Press the default button on the display and see if the EF code goes away.

Electrolux recommends that you do not plug the refrigerator into an outlet that has a reset button. If your refrigerator is plugged into one of these outlets, try plugging it into another outlet and see if the refrigerator resets itself.

Hope this helps.

I have a dishlex Global 500 which runs for 3-5 minutes then displays nF

nf= not filling. check inlet vale, or fault will be with pressure switch. If you have poor water pressure, you may need to increase the fill time- insructions can be downloaded from:www.electrolux.com.au, click on "customer service", then "download manuals", then Dishwashers-semi integrated, electronic, then download Dishlex Global Part 1 and Part 2.
Information on setting fill time can be found at the back of Part 2, but Part 1 has a list of the fault codes

Dishlex 302 water not heating

My son fixed this problem with our DX302 dishwasher only this morning. Now works fine and hot. Found the solution on this site posted 11 august 2008 from dishwasher dishlex dx302wb no hot water. There are photos to help you. Take out the circuit board in the top of door and resolder the points on left hand side of green board there are 2 long solders and a half moon. The problem is at the top of the 2 long solder lines. Do not replace your element. There is a fault with the circuit boards on this model 302. I want to thank all the posters for helping me fix my no hot water problem.

You said, You have Vulcan Dishlex 160 Dishwasher which was kept in good conditionafter using for few years, then it was NOT used for few years.
