Question about Computers & Internet
True to really help you we do need some additional information such as mail client software, and mail service. That being said, some mail services, Like Yahoo! require you to purchase an upgrade to your account to use a POP3/SMTP or IMAP rather than their web interface. You may want to verify that you have your SMTP and POP3 servers are set correctly, as well as ports. How this is done varies based on your mail client software. Normally smtp is port 25 and POP3 is 110, but if you are using ssl, POP3 can be 995 and SMTP can be 465. Also can be verify that any firewall software are not blocking it, how that is done is based on your firewall settings.
