You can do either, but in both cases pat the fish dry before vacuuming otherwise the water will ice up and detriorate the fish meat and make it yukky

Plumbing in water supply to fridge.

if this is for ice maker this is how its done. run the line through the floor in back of fridge to a cold water pipe. closest to where fridge sits.
  • Turn off the cold water supply to the pipes.
  • Attach a pipe clamp to the cold water pipe.
  • Screw a packing nut into the cold water pipe. Turn the packing nut until it punctures and taps into the pipe. Attach ¼-inch copper tubing to the outlet valve on the packing nut using a compression nut. Make certain the valve is closed before you secure the packing nut.
  • Attach the copper tubing to the intake connection using a compression nut. to back of fridge,
  • Turn on the cold water supply.
  • Turn on the outlet valve on the packing nut.

  • the kit should have directions with it. good-day !

I have a brita faucet filter. And the selector knob is getting harder to turn. If it gets any worse I will need to use a wrench. I wanted to try to lube up the movement if I can open up the casing. How...

I have a Brita faucet filter (model FF-100) that lately has become harder and harder to turn. I toyed with the idea of forcing the unit apart but, instead opted to lube the mechanism directly from the top, where the unit attaches to the faucet.
To this mean, you will have to 1) Detach the unit from the faucet. 2) Remove the filter. 3) Thoroughly wash the unit, inside and out, turning the knob to flush any debris that may be present. 4) Pour some drops of vegetable oil inside the mounting opening, coating the valve stem within. (Oil may pass thru the unfiltered water outlet, so choose an appropriate working space). 5) Turn the water handle (knob) to lube the valve repeatedly, until it loosens. 5.b) Optionally, you could let the oil sit for some time inside the base. 6) Rinse the unit and reinstall it on faucet (without the filter). 7) Turn knob to unfiltered position, and flush with warm/hot water. 8) Do likewise with knob set to filtered, but open faucet only slightly, to avoid over-spraying. 9) Remove base unit from faucet and repeat steps 3-9, as needed. 10) Reinstall unit with filter, as instructed by manual.
Water valves may seize due to mineral deposits. While you may be tempted to use detergents or solvents, be reminded that unless thoroughly rinsed, chemicals may corrode plastics, degrade your filter, or even wind up in your drinking water, so caveat.

We have a sunbeam peace and quiet kettle ke7500s it is approx 3months old. When we reboil the water there's always a tainted water taste in the tea and coffee .The taste is so bad we tip out the hot...

As you know friend, some water when it is boiled it really taste bad so I suggest use a water purifier to filter other out dirt, dust, other particles in a water street supply. Sure when you drink the water (not boiled) it doesn't taste bad, that's normal because we can't distinguish it easily. Also try to clean your kettle using baking soda it will eliminate tainted taste.
I hope my advice help you with your problem.

We have owned a Britta for over 30 years. Recently when changing filters the water has a greenish color. Hoe do we get rid of it? Is it safe to drink?

If you mean a water softner on tap, then you will need to sanitize it with Sodium Metabisulphate or similar. Fill the unit, not the filter, with a solution and leave for 10 minutes then flush it slowly through the pipes, Baby sterilization liquid will work. You have to remove the algae.
It probably is safe to drink but I wouldn't!
    Hope that helps.

many parts of coz not heating the microwave firts ismagnetron but you cannot try if is ok or not by using a clamp meter or actualtesting, but the ohter parts can be test, but firts thing dont touch by your handany part of microwave.mostly the problem of not heating is HV FUSE with redwire and white like tube,if you open the tube plastic you will see small wireinside if is good or defective, if wire is continue is good,if wire is brokenor split it is defective, but the other parts is not to recomended to test ifyou are no basic idea for testing coz of the high voltage of microwave.otherthan that if the HV FUSE is ok the second common problem of microwave ismagnetron and easy to replace, carefully to remove the part by using a plieswith insulation for your protection in High voltage.

Do the lighbulbs underneath the microwave screw in or pull out- in the process of trying to change the burnt out bulb- i broke the bulb off of the base.

Most moderately new microwaves have a two prong pin type connector that is simply pushed strait in and pulled strait out. I presume the you tried turning it out when it broke?
