I recently purchased a Philips SAA7130 tv turner card and installed evrything but they is no sound coming out

I have no dirver of SAA7130 TV Card - Video Capture
Philips SAA7130 TV Tuner/FM Radio/Video PCI Capture Cardr I installed the hardware, no sound was coming, neither did the
remote work. After I troubleshot following the
guide on the official website of sabrent, I successfully solved the sound problem by reinstall the
driver.

However the remote still
does not work. I installed the remote driver, there is a icon on the taskbar :
"SAA7130 TVcard Remote control receiver".



I also made sure the
batteries are good, the sensor are installed correctly, but still couldn't solve

How to update SAA7130 TV Turner/FM
In order to update it you need to find the manufacturer's website.
Then look for driver and firmware updates.
Select the update that matches the version of Windows that you are using.
Download the update and follow the instructions to install it.

FYI: Your system is way to slow for this product to function properly. I wouldn't mess with a tuner without at least a 2.8 P4, 2GB RAM and a dedicated video card with 256MB RAM.

No Sound is there while using SAA7130 TV Card
I am using p4 dual core intel processor 3.06 Ghz. Recently i installed tv tuner card on my suystem with cabil connected to this card. but due to unknown reasons sound stopped coming. though the picture is still there i am using Windows vista . My system config is 2 GB DDR2 ram and tv tuner card with 80 gb HDD + FDD
Due to this problem I formatted my hard disk and re-installed everything but the problem remained i re-checked everything with no results.

can you help me to sort out this.

Have you checked the installation? - most PCI capture cards use the audio card of the PC for sound. A jumper cord is needed to come out the capture card and into the audio line-in jack. Green jack on the capture card is OUT, and the Blue jack on the sound card is Line IN.
