Brother BC-1000 Computerized
My bottom thread is a real mess when I sew. The bobbin case seems to move and the thread pulls out of the tension spring. I have tried everything. You already sent me a letter to try to solve this. I have done everything you said. At least now the bobbin case does not move into the way of the needle and give me the error message anymore. I have studied the manual and have tried everything that I thought might help. Yes the bobbin is the right size. Yes the thread is the correct thread. Yes the needle is the correct needle. Yes the tension is set on 5. Is there anything else I can try. It seems like the bottom thread is not staying in the tension spring.Would it help to replace the bobbin case?

I would suggest to replace the bobbin case,
make sure the needle is not in backwards
make sure the needle is not bent

What does it mean when the motor jams and the needle is hitting the bobbin case?

Make sure the needle is put in the right direction and a new one. Also, check the bobbin to make sure it is one that fits properly.

Your sewing machine is likely to be out of timing. This means the needle goes under the throat plate to pick up the bottom thread but it is going at the wrong time. The bottom and top have to be synchronized. This is a problem that usually requires the replacement of gears. Anyway, it isn't a home fix problem.

How to fix bobbin thread on computered memorycraft 9000 sewing machine ?

1)Check that your bobbin does not have a nick in it where the thread can catch and won't feed smoothly.2) make sure the upper and bobbin threads are the same.3) pull out the bobbin case and chect to see if there is a clump of lint.4) make sure the feed dogs are moving the fabric through smoothly, some fabrics can get caught on the dogs and make the bottom thread get loopy.5) check your needle,if it's bent or has a bad tip,it can mess up the stitch.

How do I adjust the timing on Brother inovis 1500 sewing machine?

Clean the machine, especially the bobbin and bobbin case area and around the feed dogs. Take all the thread off the top of the machine, including thread off the spool pin. Raise the presser foot. Rethread the top with the presser foot UP, which lets the thread get between the two tension disks. Put the foot down to sew, and hold the ends of the bobbin and top threads together behind the presser foot for the first 2-3 stitches in each seam.

Thread is bunching up in bottom.

It sounds like you have no tension on the bottom bobbin reel. Did you check your tension on the bobbin reel. The tension must be right on both sides. When pulling on the cotton when the reel is in its bobbin case you need to feel a little resistance. Adjust the tiny srew on the bobbin case to tighten the reel to avoid it to turn in the casing.

I have a Brother Disney SE-2700 and the bottom threads knott up causing me to not be able to sew. Please help.

It sounds like it has not been correctly threaded or the tension is too tight. Check the tension discs for bits of thread that may have broken off and be causing a blockage.
Re-thread the top threads making sure the pressure foot is up before passing the thread through the tension discs!
Then check the bobbin is running correctly by pulling on the tail of the thread. The bobbin should rotate clockwise. Put the bobbin case in and make sure it is seated correctly.

If all this fails try replacing the needle. A blunt needle can cause all sorts of weird problems

Bobbin thread keeps balling up

Check the bobbin tension and that the thread is tight around the bobbin. Make sure that the bobbin is in the right way around - the bobbin thread should double back on itself coming out of the bobbin holder.

I keep getting an E6 error message - tangled thread. I think it's the bobbin thread that's getting tangled, and I can't figure out why, or how to fix it. Any ideas?

It could be that the bobbin is being put in upside down check to make sure that you do not need a bobbin with a magnet on one side. also make sure there is no thread tangled inside the bobbin housing it will cause the timing of the machine to be off and cause issues with your needle picking up the bobbin and thus cause a mess inside you bobbin housing

Brother PE-150V bobbin thread

For embroidery, and zig-zag, and because the needle makes side movements, it needs more needle thread.
So try to keep you needle thread not very tight,
and tight up your bobbin case tension more, so that the two threads meet under the meterial.
