Question about Yahoo Mail

1 Answer

I have had an att.net account forever and I am still getting billed for it. It is supposed to forward to my gmail account. It has done so with no problems for quite a few years but now it has stopped. When I try to get into it, it says that my account is cancelled or suspended. But, I am still paying on the account and did not cancel it. Please tell me what to do to fix/reinstate my albeamer@att.net address.

Yahoo email is not working? Suggest the reason behind it.

Sometimes due to some technical glitches may occur in the Yahoo account due which the Yahoo email cannot be loaded properly. So, you can check by clearing the history of the web browser and even can also check for the internet connection whether the internet is working properly or not.

Secondly, You can also forward Yahoo email to the Gmail account if the are not to access your Yahoo account. Due to this, you will start getting all the Yahoo emails on the Gmail account.

Had some work done on my computer. lost bookmarks. can't get into gmail inbox

Point your web browser at http://www.gmail.com

If another account comes up, sign out of it by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out."

If you then still can't sign in to your account, click the "Can't access your account?" link on the sign-in page.

Outlook and Gmail are two completely separate email services operated by two different companies. The only way you'll see the same message in both is if it was originally sent to both or if one of them forwarded the message to the other.

I have a yahoo email account and i also have att email account how do i check myatt email account

Point your URL to: WWW.ATT.NET.

Under the email field you will see an example email address such as: (e.g., free2rhyme@att.net). If you see the att.net domain then you are in the right sign in screen.

Also, if your browser is set to remember passwords in its cache, then you might not get into this screen if you are logged into your xxxx@yahoo.com account. It will continue signing you in to yahoo.com by default. You will have to select logout on your yahoo.com account and then close and relaunch your browser and then enter att.net.

Good Luck.

I want my e-mail address to stay at dlhealey@att.net and now it's healeydot@yahoo.com....PLEASE HELP me get back to my original e-mail address....

Thanks for visiting FixYa.

Users of att.net have had their email rerouted to Yahoo. Email sent to your att.net address should be automatically forwarded to your new Yahoo account.

I'm going to send you a TEST email to your dlhealey@att.net email account. Look for it as TEST email. If you receive it, you can continue to use your att.net email address without a problem.

How do I set my e-mail address to download emails

Just so everyone knows, I have BB Curve 8310 with AT & T.

You get 1 blackberry email account (in my case, it's username@att.blackberry.net). If you're like me, you have business, personal, etc accounts that you want to add without getting 20-30 minute delays before the email hits your BB.

Let's say you have 2 emails you want to set up (1 for your business and 1 personal). Let's say your business POP3 email is myname@mybusiness.com.

1) Create a username with your ATT BB address (let's say, mybusinessname@att.blackberry.net).
2) In your POP3 email settings, choose to "redirect" or "forward and save a copy in Inbox" and forward your emails to your ATT BB address (mybusinessname@att.blackberry.net) you've just created. This will help get your emails to your BB pretty much instantaneously. And emails will be kept in your inbox for you to reference as well.
3) Log into your providers BIS (short for Blackberry Internet Service). ** Can't post a link but you can just Google your providers name followed by Blackberry Internet Service and you should find it
4) Once you're logged in, from there you can set up your account.
• Email Account Name: put your ATT BB address in there
• Reply To: This is where you can put any email address you want. So, even though you're sending the email from username@att.blackberry.net, the user will see whatever email address you put in this field. So, in this case, you want to put myname@mybusiness.com. So, the user will see it came from myname@mybusiness.com and when replying, they will reply to myname@mybusiness.com (which is then forwarded to your ATT BB email, which is then forwarded to your BB).
• Auto BCC: The only problem with doing this (and I run into this a lot) is that since I'm sending out so many emails - some from BB and some from my office computer, I don't know what I sent to people, and without an Enterprise server, it is not automatically synched with my desktop in my office. What you can do here is set up a Gmail account and name it mybusiness_dump@gmail.com and any email you send from your BB will be sent to this email address as well so you know what you sent people.
• Signature: You can change your signature for each of your email accounts (business, personal, whatever), which is great.

Go to Google and click on the Gmail link. Set up a free Gmail account and have him email you at your Gmail account. At least you will find out if the problem is yours or his.

Signed for ATT.net account, why yahoo now? not getting mails.

ATT.net creates a new Yahoo account for you when you sign up for their service. You now have a Yahoo account that can be accessed with the ladyg.....@att.net as the user and whatever your ATT pass is.

It is possible to merge the new account with the old account:

http://helpme.att.net/article.php?item=485

The article states that you can only merge only during the registration process, but I believe this to be false.

I no longer have ATT, but there was an option to merge a Yahoo account while managing your ATT information (I belive this is accessible from your ATT home page). ATT should be able to assist you with that regardless of whether you merged during the registration process or not.
