I have exactly the same problem. I think it's hardware, because appears as soon as the computer boots. If I find a solution, I'll tell you here. Please do the same.

You can fix the flickering by removing the bezel, unscrew the lcd, then reseat and tape the lvds (lcd-cable) at the back of the lcd. This is a common problem on this series.

Asus k55a will not recognize my network

Turn on your computer and locate the Wi-Fi icon.

This could be located on the upper row on a laptop keyboard it should have a key something like (((.))) press it on

The internet connection is located in the system tray in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

The icon looks like a series of rectangles that increase in size from left to right.

Right-click the Wi-Fi icon and select "Connect to a network." You will see a list of available wireless networks.

Choose a Wi-Fi network you want to connect to and select "Connect."

Enter the password into the password text box if a password is required.

If a password is not required, you will automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network.

Click "OK."

My Laptop specifications are, ASUS F80Q, dual core, 3 gb ram, Windows 7 ultimate. when i first installed windows 7 (long time ago) it detected my bluetooth device, but now in the middle suddenly it...

Seems like your Bluetooth and Wifi settings are disabled from BIOS.
On laptops usually there is a setting in BIOS where you can disable/Enable Wifi+Bluetooth. Shutdown computer Turn on computer and press "F2" to go to BIOS settings Find settings for Wifi+Bluetooth and set it to default.
Save settings and restart computer You will be able to see your Bluetooth and Wifi.
Hope this works

Hello, I can't install my os it says the BIOS is not ACPI compliant. What to do?

Check the computer manufacturer's website for a flash BIOS update. ACPI is an onboard power management program that works with the OS to turn devices on the motherboard on and off as needed in order to conserve power. Modern OSs require this function to operate correctly. The update will come with instructions for installing it, and you must follow them exactly, else your computer may become unusable.

If no update is available, you'll have to revert to the original OS to use it, as there is no way around this that I've heard about. ACPI has been standard on PCs for over 10 years, and it's unlikely that any modern OS will work on a PC without it.

I need to know the pixels for a sony viao vgn-430d screen

You should be able to find the proper LCD screen, by the LCD screen size, whether it is a widescreen or not, and whether or not it's a matte finish.
I need the exact model number. The Vaio VGN-430d does me no good. Suggest you look on the bottom of the laptop. There may, or may not be a Service Tag.
Look for something like VGN-NR , and a number.
What you may see on the side of the LCD screen, or on the body of the laptop, is just part of the VGN series.
