Distance from the flue to a mechanical air inlet for the Rinnai which has a fan assisted flue is one metre. I this is just the air con motor on a split system it is not really an inlet. However exhaust flue temperatures are hot so I would use the 1 metre rule in this case.

(Just for your reassurance i and I also used to teach gas fitting at the trade schools on occasions am a licensed gas fitter. Also worked for Rinnai for a few years)

I urgently need a air-conditioned condenser fan motor

Depends where you live you can contact united air conditioning this is a parts store. Grainger would have it. You need to have the horse power of the motor and the RPM of the motor and the amps. you will be able to find a replacement for it with this information. Be sure to tell them its a dual shaft motor.

Rennai hot water heater very slow to heat up!

I would check the gas pressure at the burner. It should be 3.5 inches water column on the manifold. Hope this helps.

I have a rennai infinity that flashes error code 12. What would be the cause of this.

Error code 12 on a Rinnai means the unit lit, sensed a flame but then failed to sense it some time later whilst in operation.
Secondly, when you get a 12 immeadiatly you turn the tap on. This is caused by a short circuit on the low voltage side of the heater.

2001 v70 erratic air conditioning

ALL 850 and S-70 models with climate control have these issues and i am an ASE VOLVO MASTER TECH and you must have a lot of experiance to troubleshoot and fix these systems and 20 pages of tests it sounds like one of the damper motors is not working these motors direct air flow to different duct outlets

Blowing circuit

Does it sound like it's running the usual speed? If it's at lower speed, it may have a problem in the motor, or a voltage drop condition exists. If speed is near normal, check the reeds in the compressor, or the checkvalve between the head and the tank.

Compressor will not start

It is a good sign that the motor turns freely with and without air. That indicates that you have good bearings and that the intank check valve is in good condition. Next you should check the capacitors and the condition of the windings. Some motors have start and run capacitors and others only have run cap. Remove from the circuit and test with meter having cap. test setting. Most shops will test them for free. The cap should test within 95% of stated ( uf ) value. Replace as needed. Finally check that the flyball switch at rear inside of motor is functioning correctly. At rest, switch is at start winding, then a split second after start, it shifts to run winding. Check contacts are not stuck and that switch is working and lastly that the winding are the color of new penny. Good luck.
