This model has had a very high failure rate. The amber led on front is on to show an error. This can be 1 of 3 things. 1. The power supply has went bad. 2. The motherboard is bad. or 3. The front control panel is bad. Since Dell used proprietary parts on this model you would need to contact them for replacement. www.dell.com will have the contact info. Hope this helps.
This model has gotten some bad reviews because of the short battery lifetime. Mine started doing this after ~8 mo of use, so I replaced it with a corded model. Depending on how old it is, you can try (1) taking it back to where you purchased it, (2) calling a black and decker service center to replace the battery on their $, or (3) buying a replacement battery yourself. Sorry, but your battery is bad.
On most models the air suspension takes the place of coil springs. Are you sure the air suspension does not have just 1 bad component? Remember, this is a part which is seldom hurt in a wreck. If you can verify which part is bad, (Fuse, pump, bag) it is like replacing 1 flat tire. Change the part and all will work. It costs over $250 for new springs.
if compressor is hot that means comp- is trying to start but the relay /overload is bad allow comp to cool down unplug from wall and replace with exact type 1/2hp 1/4hp 1/3hp etc make sure all wireing is correct and unplug before starting that model may or may not have a run or start capacitor replace it also..
