I have an LG rear projection TV it seems like a globe has blown half of the picture is fine the other half is darker shade

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.

I noticed that my TV Sony Wega LCD Projection TV picture is darker than before. I tried to set brightness to very high, but still seems to be darker


hello, if you go in to the menu and click on to picture setting half way down the screen is the word reset click on this it should make it brighter hope it works

I have have this TV for almost 3 yrs..now have a shaded area on the left side


The dark side of the screen causes of the lamp alignment or prism glass alignment. This is critical you have to consult your LG technician to do this. But if you have any background o repair consult the service manual. Please careful not to touch the prism quarts so that you maintained the clarity of picture and brightness on the screen.
