Check the end of your users manual for these pool cleaners. It has a detailed diagram of how the pool cleaner is put together (and taken apart). Here is a digital copy in case you need it!

Your foot pads are worn. Should be a waffle patteren on bottom, if flat
they are bad, therefore need replaced. putting pads underneath only makes the problem worse.

Everytime I apply the brakes, there is a loud squeaking from the wheels and stops when I take my foot off the brake.

well usually that means the squeeler on the pad is rubbing the rotor, that lets you know your pads are needing to be changed.if thats not the case then it could be either the pads you have are just cheap pads or the pads and the rotor could be glazed over causing them to squeak.if the pads arent cheap pads or they dont need to be changed try cleaning them with brake cleaner to get brake dust off.

What is the right way (direction facing) to put a new foot pad on a Barracuda G4? I notice on the the new footpad that one end is a straight cut while the other is rounded. Does the straight cut end face...

The best way to install the foot pad is to the install the flat part of the cassette to feed the foot pad into the grove (as you turn it). It always always works best when warm, so if the foot pad has been out side and it is cold, then it will need to warm up.

When the foot pad finishes, the flat part will be towards the back and the rounded part towards the front of the cleaner.

Unthread and remove the cassette. Holding the Baracuda G3, press down on the yellow clip while pulling the foot flange toward you. Pull off the old footpad and stretch on the new one. Insert the locking clip of the foot flange into the large opening, push forward to lock into place insert the cassette and tighten.

If you need any additional information, please do no hesitate to ask! We all work hard here at Fix Ya and appreciate your feedback as well.

The flexifoot on my old baracuda is split

What do you mean by flexifoot, and what do you mean split? The large rubber disc is called the "durometer" disc (on the G3 it's called a finned disc). The small rubber pad the the big one fits over is called a "foot pad", the foot pad fits over a hard piece called the foot plate. That being said.... if your referring to the durometer disc being split, or torn, I assume it is very worn out and needs to be replaced. if it's new and torn then it may still work fine. if it is worn out chances are you need to replace the foot pad, and possible a couple other pieces.

The bottom section came off, (the plastic fingers that clean. How do I reassemble this onto the main body? Many thanks.

You will first need to replace the pool cleaners foot pad. Press down on the locking tab while pulling
the foot flange toward you and up. It is important to note that if the threads of the pad are 1/8" or less, you should go ahead and replace it also. You should then be able to slide the flap into place on the foot flange and replace the foot pad. Slide locking tab into position and push down on the shoe to lock it into place.

How do I replace brake pads on real wheel of CBR 600F 1996

the problem is probably 2 things in the brake.
one the pads could be worn and two the disk is probably wearing in a wavey fashion.
run you hand over the disk surface and see if it feels lumpy, if so have it surfaced when you replace your pads.
