Question about Garden
I need two cables to repair a Magna American tiller model # 500915. Serial 1106. The unit also says Whites on it. Where can I find the cables and the part numbers for them? If I need additional information, where on the unit can I find it?

On the old Gardenways Horse the serial number is stamped into the top of a little flange on the side of the transmission just to the right (viewed from behind) of where the handles attach. It may be covered in gunk so a douse of mineral spirits and a little scraping will reveal it.
You can download the manual and parts list from the Troybuilt site. Enter "HORSE" for the model and the serial number.

If it's as old as mine (circa 1976), it's stamped on the casting right below the T-handle that allows the handle bars to pivot (also the gear case fill cap)

SOURCE: oil seal for rear tine shaft
I checked my troy bilt and can not find any numbers above the wheel on the housing and I know they have not been taken off. Is there anywhere else to look?
