Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Need codes for all regions on Panasonic DMP-BD60

Hi, I don't think there are any codes, it has to be modified by inserting a chip, and unless you know about electronics or soldering, I would either find a friend or take it to a competent repair shop, because if it is done wrong , you will have a bricked dvd player.

SOURCE: How do i get my Panasonic DMP-BD60 to work

Regarding the Panasonic DMP-BD60, I had the exact same problem, but I also had a disc stuck inside at the time. I called Panasonic tech support and this is what solved the problem for me.
Near the bottom of the remote control is a series of colored buttons marked R, G, B, & Y. Locate the OK button, and press it together with the B & Y buttons, hold for 10 seconds.
All of a sudden, my unit came back to life and everything is working fine. We are happy now.

Bluray players cannot be updated to add more regions. You will need to purchase a Bluray player that supports the region of the movies you are trying to watch.

Hi have just bought a panasonic blu ray player model dmp-bd77 here in australia we have put in a b/ray dvd from the usa that plays perfectly but when we have put in another american dvd(not blu ray a...

Every blu ray or dvd player sold in the world comes as standard unlocked to play any disc from any region. On the fifth play of a disc the DVD or Bluray will become locked to that region. So if you play 5 USA dvd's on the player after the fifth disc has been played only US dvd's will be recognised by the player, Same applies to BLUrays. So if i were you i would be careful about what discs you are putting in the player. Otherwise you will be left with a bluray player that cannot be used in Australia. After that happens the only way to play other region discs would be to get the player unlocked. Another point to add , a blueray player has two lasers one to play bluray and another to play DVD's. Lasers can fail so you could be able to play DVD's but not Bluray or vice versa depending on which laser has failed.

Hello, how can i unlock blu ray DMP-BD110 from Panasonic? The DVD and the BluRay so I can make them ALL region? I live in Europe. Regards Eduard

You cannot hack the BluRay capability to make it multi region, that's impossible on almost all makes and models. But if your computer has a recordable BluRay drive then you can use software such as DVD Fab to copy the disc onto a blank BluRay disc and remove all region coding and other protection so that it will play in any BluRay device.

The DVD region coding on your machine is also currently unhackable without a special servicing remote control. You cannot buy nor hire them as they are only available to authorised Panasonic service centres, but you can expect that fairly soon there will be 3rd party suppliers who will have reverse engineered the coding and will be selling or renting suitably modified service remotes. But for the same money or less you can buy a perfectly good ready hacked or very easy to hack DVD player form one of the usual budget brands known for easy DVD hacking. Alternatively if you have software as previously mentioned it will also do the same job for DVD's.

Note that I only mention DVD Fab as it's what I use. It's certainly not cheap but it's never failed me and there are other products which claim to do the same job, but as I've never used them I must leave you to choose amongst them.
