NEC AccuSync 120 Frequency setting

Hi,

I am Ravi from Bangalore. Recently we have purchased NEC AccuSync 120 21" Colour Monitor. My proble is, I am not able to set the Monitor refresh frequency to 120 Herts for 1024 by 768 pixels sceen area. This is very much required for our work. Hindly help me.

This is the maximum resolution for this monitor:
1600 x 1200 / 76 Hz

Even if you lower the resolution to the monitor, as I can see that you want to do, the maximum refresh rate is still going to be 76 Hz. If you were able to force the monitor to scan a greater field rate and its protection circuits do not shut it down, the monitor will be damaged.

Your display card is most likely limited also, unless you went out and bought a very high end card.

When using a different resolution that what the specs on the monitor indicates as its native mode, this will reduce the quality of the results displayed.
