SOURCE: I was given a laminator but it does not have

the main way they work is that you have the laminate pouch into which you slide your paper then make sure that the pouch is put between the guides closed side first the machine will take a while to warm up after you have plugged it in when the green light is on push the pouch in slowly the motor should turn and feed the pouch in automatically.. the important thing is to make sutre the pouch is correct for the type of machine you have and that when feeeding in the pouch it goes in closed end first otherwise it could open and jam.. Good luck A>>

A laminate and paper jam in a Gbc HeatSeal H425 Laminator

You need to loose the vertical plastic wall on the left side, and pull it up and to the left, only then you would be able to take pink rollers and metal piece away. Step by step do this (BTW, make pictures of each step if you think you will not be able to assemble it back) :

Download parts scheme here (if link is broken I can send you; write to ororeivis [at] g mail com):
http://www.gbcconnect.com/assets/docs/H425_PARTS_POUCH_LAMINATOR.pdf

Take the lid (3) off and hang it on the corner.
Next goes off (42) part.
Now focus on the left side. Take to the side part (30) with 7mm wrench. Then both parts (14) from both sides [4 in total]. Then both parts (2). Then take out screws that are holding this vertical plastic wall place. There is two screws from the outside of laminator in the bottom!
Then black roller (36) you lift up and take out by sliding to the side. Then two long black metal pieces.
Now you should be able to pull up and move to the left that vertical plastic wall on the left side of laminator. If not, try loosing some screws that are in this wall.
Be careful taking melted jammed stuff away from heating panel. Do not over-scratch it, as it is very sensitive.

How doses the plastic feed through the xrx lm1910 laminator

You will need to make sure that you are using the right type of plastic. also, is the plastic the right size? Also, you need to check if you are trying to feed at all. Are you able to feed the paper?

Hi, Our Ibico IL19VT Laminator (A2) has paper jammed inside of it. There are no reverse mechanisms on the laminator. The only feasible method is to open the laminator up at this point, whether or not...

You can open this yourself but i recommend sending it for repair. If you decide to do it yourself here is how: turn the unit over and on the end with only one screw (not the power setting side) take it out using a Philips screwdriver. Next you will need size 3 and 4 hex bits. Use size 4 to undo the 4 hex screws. Hold the non power end and it should slide off. You will see four rollers two on each side of the heater element. Using the size 3 hex bit undo the 4 hex screws at the exposed end and lift up and out the 2 housing bits. Careful as these are made of plastic and break easy. Remove the offending material and then put everything back together.
