Did you check to see if your remote wire for the amp as connected to the ignition wire thats the most common mistake. the ignition wire is the one to tell the radio and amp when to turn on and off it sounds like you have it hooked up to a constant 12 volt which is the battery wire. the ignition wire is the one that is 12 volts only when the car is turned on.

Kenwood radio rca sub outs. How do I hook up a sub and will it work without an amp

You can't, unless it's a sub with a built-in amplifier. A subwoofer pre-amp output is meant to be connected to an amplifier, not directly to a subwoofer. You must have an amp to drive a sub.

When I turn car off amp still stays on without keys in ignition

the constant power should be run to the battery. The "turn-on power" should be run to your radio which only comes on by the ignition. If it still comes on then your radio is wired to come on without key. Then you have to check the constant and turn-on wires for it.

What does the wire that comes out of the back of the amplifier that says REM hook to?

It connects to a fused, switched 12 volt power source; one that comes on when the radio comes on, preferrably the blue/white wire from the back of an aftermarket stereo.

How do i take out the factory stereo for a 2008 mazda 6, in order to install an after market amp?

Hi Lo Adapters
Hi/Low adapters are devices that installers use to convert a speaker level stereo to RCA levels so it can be hooked to an external car stereo amplifier. You can cut the speaker wires and hook the hi/lo adapter right up or you can tap onto existing speaker wires without cutting them so the speakers still play while the tap gives you a connection to the hi/lo device for adding something like a subwoofer amp to the existing speakers.... We have hi lo converters in TWO CHANNEL and FOUR CHANNEL configurations and we have them WITH and WITHOUT adjustments.. The adjustable hi/lo converters allow you to fine tune the hi/lo device to match other levels in the car or to make sure the match between your stereo and amplifier is a good match.. The adjustable line converters are the most popular.. We also have some specialty hi lo converters that have special radio plugs on them that may plug right into your factory stereo.
Now you can install an amplifier with your factory radio or install a new radio with your factory amplifier!

Every time i hook up my coustic car amp the radio will turn on with out the radio on

THE GOAL HEAR IS TO DETERMINE IF THE INSTALLATION IS CAUSING YOUR PROTECTION FAULT OR IS IT THE RADIO OR AMPLIFIER ITSELF HAVING INTERNAL DAMAGE. REMOVE THE RCA INPUTS AND DISCONNECT THE SPEAKERS, THEN POWER THE AMPLIFIER UP WITH THIS NO INPUT, NO SPEAKER LOAD CONDITION. IF IT STILL POWERS UP ON ITS OWN, THEN REMOVE THE REMOTE TERMINAL COMING FROM THE RADIO. IF THE AMPLIFIER SHUTS OFF, THEN YOU MAY HAVE A SHORTED TURN-ON TRANSISTOR WITHIN THE RADIO AND IT IS OUTPUTTING THE DC NEEDED TO TURN THE AMPLIFIER ON. IF YOU REMOVE THE REMOTE TURN-ON FROM THE RADIO TO THE AMPLIFIER AND THE AMPLIFIER STAYS ON, THEN THIS POINTS TO A FAULT WITHIN THE AMPLIFIER AND IT WILL NEED TO BE SERVICED. MAKES SURE THAT THE AMPLIFIER AND RADIO GROUNDS ARE 100%. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.....V

I have my amp hooked up but it isnt getting any power can you tell me if i have a bad amp or if i need the speakers and sound for it to come on?

With all amplifiers for a car, you must have the main power connections B+ and ground connected, and then you must also have the remote turn on connected as well. This is the way the amp turns on. It comes from the radio and is usually the blue wire from the harness off the back of the radio. When the radio is turned on, the blue wire gets 12 volts sent to it so it can turn on an external device like an amplifier or the power antenna. Make sure you have this connected to the amp and that the radio is turned on. Then check the voltages at the power terminal of the amplifer. You will have the ground, the main B+ of 12 volts, and then the turn on voltage of 12 volts. If you have all of these, then you need to troubleshoot it more. It will turn on without the speakers connected, but I am not sure why you would want to connect it without the speakers. It will also turn on without the RCA cables connected for the audio input as well. But just to turn on the amplifier, all you need is those three things i mentioned. Let me know if you require any further help.

No radio sound from my IVA-D310E

neither of those units use fibre optic cables! but it sounds like you puled out the antenna wire behind the head unit. if you try and search radio stations without the manual tune on and it keeps changing frequency on it and never stops then its the antenna plug.
