Upon starting up the computer keep hitting the F8 key until the repair screen appears
Choose the line to start the program with the X:/ prompt and see what shows up. If the DOS screen appears you have no problems accessing it

> access denied,access control configuration prevents your request being allowed

Does this happen only on ONE computer,
e.g., a computer at your school/college/university,
or one supplied by your employer?

Try a different computer.

I can't access the site facebook, but when I try it at another computer from the same server, it can access the website, how do I solve this?

Can you access any other site using the computer that can't access Facebook? If you can, then someone don't want you on facebook and has the site blocked or restricted.

I can't access my facebook

Are you using a "public-access" computer,
or a computer at your school, or at your place of employment?
If so, the Chief Information Officer may have _deliberately_ blocked access to FaceBook.

Tell us more about the computer you are using:
* personally-owned by you? computer owned by school/employer?
* PC? Mac?
* Windows XP? Vista? 7?
* wired Internet access? wireless?
* connected via school's network? employer's network?

to get more specific advice.

Sometimes i try to ping the wireless access point and i get the message 'Request time out',i receive this message even if im directly connected to the access point.what should i do

When you connect the computer directly to the access point, you might not be getting IP address on your computer.
You will need to assign a static IP address on your computer in the range of default IP address of the Access point.

The hard disk in drive D: is not accessible

Hope I can help you with your problem. If your hard drive was installed to be used as D: in your old computer then you will have to set it up to be D: in the new computer. This may be why it is not being recognized. You can do this by connecting it as a slave on the primary IDE cable.
Also you will need to check the jumper on the hard drive to make sure it is set in the slave position.
