Question about LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer
Was there a manual or documentation as to how to replace?
I would appreatiate any input.
Called LG support when I received the LE error on my washer. He had me clean out the drain. Unpluged the machine and then had me press the 'play' button for 10 seconds. After that I was able to use the washing machine - the LE error was cleared

Cool Tech, Best Solution worked perfect for me. Easy fix. I had to wait a week for the part but it was worth it. I saved alot of money. Thank You. LG was not supportive of homeowner fixing.

No, there is no service manual available to the public for this error code. The error code LE refers to the motor sensor failing. You will need to order a replacement motor sensor from LG.
To replace the sensor, you will need to remove the back panel to access the motor. Take a 17 mm socket and remove the center bolt holding the rotor assembly. Pull the rotor straight out and place it off to the side. Take a 10 mm socket and remove the 6 bolts holding the stator assembly. On the inside of the stator assembly, you will find the motor sensor connected to a 5 wire connector. Remove the connector and replace the sensor. Reinstall everything back together and the unit should work fine.
