The tv is most likely in a zoom mode, go to the menu screen and look for the picture options.

PANDIGITAL PHOTO FRAME

1. Remove the backing board and matte from the traditional frame, being careful not to get fingerprints on the glass.
2. Most likely, the cutout of the matte will be slightly wider than your digital frame's screen. If this doesn't bother you, skip this step. Otherwise, have a matte custom cut with an appropriately sized inner opening. (For the 8-inch Nixplay Edge, this is 6? by 4? inches.)
3. Place small pieces of poster putty on the front corners of your digital frame (see figure A). Then place the back of the matte gently on top of the screen. Adjust as necessary to align the screen. Then press firmly on the corners.
4. Secure the digital frame to the matte with pieces of wide masking tape.
5. Set the matte and screen into your traditional frame. Insert four frame spring clips (available at americanframe.com and some custom framing shops) to hold everything in place (see figure B).

My screen is cut off at both ends picture is stretched out

You could be in overscan mode. There might be a video button on the remote that allows switching between the various video output mode.

Picture is being cut off at edges eg, Can't read all the written strips on screen.Titles on the edge of screen are cut off

From what you describe your source material is 4:3 aspect ratio but you have the screen set to 16:9 zoom.
You need to goto your picture settings and find the automatic picture option and use that.
This will stretch the screen correctly without cutting of the edges.

How do I change it from wide screen to regular? I have a black area above and below the picture.

Hello
You can set the picture size by remote control itself.

You can vide 480i format programmes in three picture sizes. 4:3, 16:9, and ZOOM
You can change the picture size by pressing the PICTURE SIZE button on the remote control.
4:3 Picutre size
To fill the screen, the top and bottom edges are extedted more widely, although the center of the picture remains near the former ratio.
If receiving a 4:3 programme, the image size is displayed in its originally formatted proportion.
16:9 picure size
This image displays the size of standard 16:9 with black bars at the top and bottom.
If receiving a 4:3 programme, the image is displayed with black bars at the top and bottom and stretched wider.

NOTE: If a fixed bar remains on the screen for a long period of time, the image can become parmanantly engrained in the screen and cause subtle but permanent ghost images. Never leave your TV for long periods of time while it is displaying these images.

Zoom picture size [for 16:9 formats]
The entire picture is uniformly enlarged --it is stretched the same amount both wider and taller (retains its original proportion). The right and left edges of the picture may be hidden.
OK.

My chainsaw does not cut although the chin is brand new, the direction of chain is correct also.

If the chain is turning, it has to cut. Make sure the cutting edge of the teeth are coming toward you on the lower run of chain. Good luck!

When I set the resolution to 1280x1024, the display is wider than the screen and I have to scroll to see the edges. At 1024x768, everything is fine. (Monitor is a Dell 1908FR-BK.)

IF the screen is wider then try to change the settings from the monitor buttons. We change change the screen size , move it , change brightness, etc.

My Picture is wider than the screen

How much wider are we talking about? It is normal for all TV's to be a bit overscanned anyway.
