Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 Digital Camera
Sounds like corrosion on the battery contacts, or oxidation. They will have to be cleaned with a stronger abrasive (fine emory cloth or 800 grit sandpaper). Sometimes a pencil eraser will do it, but keep working on it, since it sounds like your problem. The problem could be a low battery and/or bad contacts. If cleaning the new contacts doesn't work out, get a new battery.

I think that the battery might be going bad, not enough voltage.
But, if your battery has plenty of volts, and the camera doesn't work, then it may need service.
