Code 91 is low salt
do not just guess at it! even the recommended amount in the manual is just that, a starting point
It is up to you to fine tune it

Get a salt test kit that reads in #'s not color
Now get your pool to as close to 3000ppm as possible
under 2700 will cause the system to not produce enough chlorine
any higher than 3500ppm and you can go cloudy, trigger high salt alarm, and even taste terrible
Here is a link to manuals so you can see all other codes

Low salt

The salt chlorinator cell should be cleaned with a proper cell cleaning fluid. Your pool surface may coat the salt cell with calcium and unless this has been removed it will not generate chlorine efficiently no matter how much salt you add to the pool water.
When the salt cell has been cleaned properly then the amount of salt in your pool may exceed then recommended concentration and it will overload the power supply to the salt cell and the salt concentration will need to be reduced.

Hello,
the amount of salt that they reccomend in the book is just a starting point
You need to get a salt test kit that reads in #'s not colors
Get your pool to as close to 3000ppm as possible
lower than 2800ppm and you will not produce enough chlorine
any higher than 3500ppm and you can trigger high salt alarm, have bad tasting water, or even get cloudy water
Like you have done, when adding salt , filter only for 6 hours or so to fully disolve

Hello,
First of all 91 is low salt content not too much

Are you checking your salt level with a test strip
You need to be at 3000ppm anything under 2800ppm can trigger an alarm and not produce enough chlorine.
Same thing if you are over 3600ppm
all manuals just give you an amount to start with but it is up to you to fine tune it

After adjustments you need to filter only for 24 hours before trying to generate chlorine

My intex saltwater system pump is beeping ''91'' meaning ''low salt level''. Do I need to just add salt again?

Yes, and be sure to keep up with your pH as it will want to rise slowly over time when using a salt water chlorine generator.
