Hi,

Your symptoms are consistent with a blockage in either the pump, sump or drain hose.

I will attach the link to the service manual for Cabrio at the bottom of this page, you can look to see if it is something you want to tackle or not. Usually you will find the blockage under the basket in the sump filter area that feeds the drain pump.

Section 4 show dis assembly.

    Hi again,

I had a glitch and had to send that comment before I was finished. The manual I sent is the original Cabrio and may not be exactly like your model but it should be close. The filter in the sump is located just under the basket. Once you have the basket out, you will see it in the bottom, there is one 1/4" head screw holding the cover on the sump. Take that cover off and you should see from there if anything is blocking. If this area is clear, the issue would be under the washer in the drain pump itself or in the hose between the drain pump and house drain.

Ld (F32) Long Drain "Ld" flashes when water level drop ain't sensed by that fancy lectronic control.
Check these things out:
Drain pump fouled/clogged
Drain hose too high for propah pumpin.
Pressure hose tubing clogged/pinched came loose from that fancy control upstairs.

During the wash cycle, the washer started beeping and I found a code "LD" on the dial. What is the problem

Here is what the manufacture says about LD -- my comments will follow

Long Drain
Ld flashes when the water level does not
change after the drain pump is on.
ô Is the drain hose or the drain pump clogged?
ô Is the drain hose height greater than 96"?
ô Is the pressure hose connection from the tub
to the machine/motor control pinched,
kinked, plugged or leaking air?

Phil's comments ---->

Almost always this code is due to a plugged drain pump or hose, it is especially common when washing a rug with a rubber backing that comes off or small articles like baby socks that get caught in the drain system of the machine. Depending on how adventurous you feel in taking this unit apart is your call, but due to the complexity of it I would recommend calling a service expert.

Just one guys opinion..

LD is on my display-nothing will clear it and washer doesnt drain

the ld code means a long drain, what you probably have is something blocking the drain pump.
you can get to the drain pump from the back of the unit and it will be the pump on the left as you face the back.
you will need to remove the hose going into the pump and be ready for water to come out. sorry but you need to check inside the hose as there will be something blocking it. like a coin or some lint or a small sock.
when you get the item out of the hose then it should work again. you do not need to reset the control. once it knows the unit is draining properly it will be ok.
