If there is no blockage in the drain hose the pump and motor will need to be replaced

Some things to check...

When you try to pump out, any "pump-like" noises? What do you hear/see/smell? Remobe the pump from the motor (two clips) - can the pump be turned by hand using a flat blade screwdriver? These had a problem with the pumps seizing up when they first came out, I changed a lot of them under warranty.

I understand the pump is no longer a repair part, comes as a kit with the motor

all i hear is the normal draining sound. then it just a dry humming sound...not loud or anything...u spoke of a pump and motor, is that the same in one or two different things. So, I need to pull the washer out and check to see if there is any blockage? Not really clear on what im to do?

Ld code. It won't drain. Not the drain pump (I changed) and not clogged pipe.

Slow drain code. How high is the outlet pipe ABOVE the machine?

I have a whilrpool washer model WTW6600SWO. I have removed the drum and cleaned the shaft and now require some type of gear oil to re-install the drum

3in1 oil works just fine. That's all I use on service calls. Put a little of that 3in1 and your good to go.

My Whirlpool Cabrio top loading washing machine stops with an error OL . nothing wrong with the loading, this is only a small whash. Where is located this sensor for overload?

The sensing is done by measuring the motor amp draw. If the motor amp draw is high that is an indication of a heavy loaded washer which could cause the motor to overheat OR too much soap being used, OR the wrong soap being used, OR something between tubs. If you is getting an OL and the clothes is not the problem then you may have an item lodged between the tubs. You must remove the inner tub and get that thang outta there. Cabrio service manual
