The Fuji Finepix E510 takes a memory card type called "xD Picture Card". You can buy it most retail stores, but you'll save a lot of money buying online.
The Upgrade Place has low prices and a Camer Memory Finder Tool. See the capacities available and click to buy xD Picture Cards at discount prices here: FujiFilm FinePix E510 Memory Cards
yes that is a common problem and it is come from the ccd imager ;it can be repair but the ccd cost is almost the price of the camera,
hope that help you.
good luck
Googled until I found others with same problem with this particiular camera - then researched the proper address to send the camera to for repair - after calling to make sure they would still repair the camera.
take a close look to the lens, and if is clean, you have two possible problems
1. the CCD part is almost dead
2. the CCD connector is not in the right position, so you will have to open the camera and ensure that connector is properly set and the lock is on.

There was a recall (free repair) for the Finepix S5000 from Fuji.
It affected the ccd-sensor of many cameras.
It does depend on the serial number of your camera.
Email them and give them your camera details.
You might get it repaired.
They do not sell any ! spares .
Hi,
I have this camera & when it takes multiple pix, I usually find I've hit the delete button, which also is the "multiple pic" button. Just keep pressing it until the display doesn't show the papers stacked on each other with the letters H, L, or the infinity symbol. If you can see your display...no answers for you on that.
