The cable has an adjustment nut at the bottom end. You need to wind it out to remove slack in the cable.

Not worth the time trying to repair. Bugaboo sell the wheels as a spare part and there are lots of wheels secondhand on eBay.

We have bought a 2nd hand bugaboo cameleon. The teeth on the right hand break pad are sheared off. Where can we purchase a new break part? I am not having any luck finding this through the Bugaboo official...

You can't. Bugaboo only sell a complete chassis as a spare part! Take both brake pad units off and got to your local plastic welder. He can build up the plastic on the worn one then shape it using the other side as a guide.

My Bugaboo Cameleon break is not working properly. . .

Hi maristel5679. I had the same problem. It's quite easy to fix yourself. There should be a small philips type screw holding the whole assembly onto the frame. Undo this and you will see the inner workings. You just have to realign the ratchet inside. Do this by taking off the whole thing. Be careful when you place it back on the frame as it could slip out of line again because of the tension in the brake line. Undo the tension by slackening the brake screw. replace the hand-brake, tighten the philips screw, then remember to tighten the brake back up. Hope I explained this clearly!! Good luck.

My bugaboo cameleon's break no longer works. It

Hi,

There are two ways of solving this. You can either contact the retailer where this was purchased for repair under warranty (if this was of course a fault and under two years old) or you can contact Bugaboo for a replacement brake assembly kit. This is very straight-forward to replace yourself.
www.bugaboo.com - if you go via Bugaboo themselves, they will require your purchase information, colour, serial number etc.
I hope this helps.

Hand Break Bugaboo Cameleon 70100

bugaboo will replace it if it is still in the 2 year warranty period, if its older they want you to buy a new chassis (they don't do spare parts) a new chassis is £235. rip-off i know!

Hi,

If you contact www.bugaboo.com they will happily sell the complete break assembly to you. This is easy and quick to fit and should resolve your issue.

I hope this helps.

How can I fix the alignment of the wheels of a Bugaboo Cameleon stroller (it veers to the right)?

There are two answers to this problem:

1) The suspension on the front swivel wheels on the Cameleon are adjustable. As the child gets older (and heavier), his/her weight might effect the handling of the stroller. It is recommended that the suspension be adjusted. To do this, move the suspension adjustment forward, as it increases its strength.

2) There has been significant conversation about this problem with the Cameleon's veering if the chassis was purchased before 2007. If so, contact bugaboo via bugaboo.com. Bugaboo will ask you for your serial number, etc. to research whether it is something that is obviously defective.

If you have any further questions, or need help contacting the company, don't hesitate to contact us anytime!
