Hello
what you need to do is.
1. Click "Start," then click "Control Panel." Double-click "Administrative Tools," then double-click computer management.

2. Click to highlight "Device Manager." Click the "+" next to "Network Adapters." Right-click on the network adapter that is currently active. Click "Properties." Note the name of the device on the "General" tab.

3. Click the "Driver" tab. Note the driver provider, the driver and the driver version.

4. Open your web, then go to the website of the driver provider. Locate a downloads page, probably in the customer support or technical support area of the website. Download the current driver for your network adapter.

5. Install the driver according to instructions provided by the manufacturer
BEST OF LUCK

Please elaborate... did you change your OS recently? Possible solution is reinstalling new drivers from the wireless card company's website.

It might not need for WIn8 to detect the adapter. when that screen appears cancel/close of otherwise kill the process and see if the adapter is recognized in Device Manager without any error icons.

No wireless Device detected. Bought this thru AT&T and it uses sim card . When I try to connect to Internet using gsm it won't connect! Please help'

That is an AT&T problem. You need to contact them as your service provider to resolve the issue. If you are using a Sim card from another provider it will not work with the AT&T equipment.

Cant get Wireless card to connect to netopia wireless router

There are some things you might try.

The Belkin card will come with third party software you can disable this utility by right clicking on the icon in the Taskbar and choosing "Use Windows Zero Configuration".

Then you will need to go into Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services >> Wireless Zero Configuration >> Right click and check that the service is starting automatically >> click on Start >> Apply - that should then detect your wireless network and the internet.

Wireless card suddenly cannot detect any signals

I would suspect ya adapter.. the ONLY way to sort it is to try it in another PC see if it works.. USB devices seem to be very flimsy and we get heaps of 'em in the shop.. 9 times outa 10 it's the USB device gone weird.. substitution is the only way to isolate the problem.

check in device manager, is your wireless card detected in device manager ?
if not, it's look like your wireless card is defective.
if yes but there is question mark, you need to re-install wireless driver.
if yes, and it isnot detect any network, is wireless card in your device manager enable ? if disable, right click on wirelees card and choose enable.
if step above not working, try to enable using wireless switch .
