Question about Seagate FreeAgent Pro - 500GB, 7200 RPM, USB 2.0, eSATA, External 500 GB Hard Drive
When the USB cable is connected properly (and your computer is on) a light appears in the center of the Pocket Hard Drive. This light indicates that the Pocket Hard Drive is receiving power and is ready to use.
If this light does not come on and your Pocket Hard Drive isn't recognized by your operating system.
To see the files on the drive, double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop. You will see your Pocket Hard Drive represented with the default "Removable Disk" label. After the system detects the drive, the light in the center of the drive becomes a drive activity indicator. This means the light will flicker on and off when your computer is accessing the drive.
